Hi Guys From what I’ve been reading on this forum, it seems dry, fine snuffs are the least likely to give a throat drip. What do you all think? What brands/types of snuff should one steer clear of if they want to avoid the throat drip? Btw, I’m looking for a high nicotine, natural tobacco-flavored snuff as I’m trying to come off dip
I’ve been told that Dholakia White is a high-nic snuff that is less prone to giving a throat drip. I’ve been snuffing Viking Brown and there’s hardly any throat-drip at all, unlike the Taxi Red and Dholakia Black that I also have. Your thoughts/suggestions?

I usually get throat drips from moister and coarser snuffs, like German schmalzlers.
I used to suffer from that until I perfected the short, sharp and shallow sniffing technique I’ve been employing for the last 30 years or so. I don’t let it get far enough into my snuff hole that it goes down my throat. Instead I stain my moustache, upper lip and a few boxes of kleenex as it makes its exit from my protruding proboscis.
Different snuffs affect different people in different ways. Personally I have throat drip problems from artisan snuffs, though most don’t suffer this way. Try a broad spectrum of snuffs to see what works for you, then explore all the sibling varieties of the ones that work for you. Eventually a pattern will emerge, but be prepared to find that some snuffs work better on some days than others depending on environment, humidity etc
Honey Bee is the one I go for if I need sever drip. But that is what I am trying to achieve.
