Everyone’s ganna have their own opinions on this, but you never know what can be gained from an open discussion. SG’s Irish D Light is a great snuff I really like. It’s bold and unique in it’s own way.
Viking Dark for me is a hearty snuff, nice and full bodied if I can use that terminology for snuff.
Yeah I too feel that some snuffs have ‘body’ that isn’t nesisarily an objective observation. I feel that Dragun has a hearty quality
WoS bubble gum- it is easy to pinch and make me feel young and carefree happy!
Gekachelter Virginie, NTSU.

I think I should try it…
I consider snuffs that have a longer nicotine delivery timeline to be hearty.
FireDrac
Looking at the definition of “hearty” I would say SG Grousemoor
London Brown…yummy.
snuffs that will get you in trouble if you aren’t paying attention and pinch too frequently NTSU Taxi Red FUBAR Grunt SG London Brown RR Mills Maccoboy all great snuffs and my favorites in fact, but I don’t take them to work with me because I pinch more frequently at work
Dark, moist snuffs like London Brown are hearty to me and Alt Offenbacher Koestlich too; it’s tobacco flavours are intense.
+1 for Viking Dark
+1 for SG London Brown
Abraxas premium (original)
deKralingse AP, Elmo’s Reserve, Abraxas Premium, Viking Brown, Fubar Grunt, London Brown
I think molens ap is a hearty snuff. Berwick brown is hearty too I think…
For me, I’d have to go with De Kralingse AP as a hearty snuff. I’d place AO 1860 a close second to it. I’d put Viking Dark or Brown, Dholakia Black and Abraxas Dragun on the hearty list too.
@lunecat Yes “earthy” is a good description of Grousemoor - I have described it in the past as smelling like wet countryside but “earthy” is probably better. And lucky you snuffing Grousemoor while striding across the moors. I am hoping to get out into the countryside myself tomorrow but rather closer to London than where you are based - so no moors. I also noticed your previous comment about SG Irish D Light and you can get it in 25g, 250g and 500g from http://www.mysmokingshop.co.uk/index2.php?mod=mancats&man=84&sec=1094 They don’t seem to stock the Irish D Original but they clearly do a lot of business with SG so if you ask they may be able to get some for you. I have never ordered from them myself but I have heard good things about them.
Elmo’s Reserve is a hearty snuff to me, also F&T HDT and Old Paris.
Never had original. I remember seeing it during my newbie buyer frenzy days, (and there were a lot more webshops then) but haven’t seen it offered anywhere in awhile. If true, it wouldn’t be the first time 1 snuff was released under 2 or more names.
