have you tried them? im not an SWS fan, but abraxas i love. im a huge fan of firedrac and dragun, and i definitely believe the premium snuffs from abraxas warrant the extra cost. i dont use it like regular snuff. actually forget my attempt at discussion, i just read your last paragraph.
I’m not a fan of either, so problem solved on my end. I’m not a bargain-basement shopper, but there is a point where price makes a difference. I can’t stomach the cost of shipping snus so I dip. The same goes with snuff. I can’t think of anything that smells good enough to make me spend well beyond the normal. Will I pay a bit of a premium for preference? Yeah, but it has to be within my own concept of reasonable. I think I’m lucky that I really enjoy the simple snuffs.
@SnuffySnuff - Quite extraordinary. Being drunk is no excuse for that posting or the comments or the language used. Irrespective of your feelings about the snuff these gentlemen produce there is absolutely no excuse for such disgusting personal comments. The Abraxas and SWS snuffs are superb and are produced in such small batches that the costs are magnified. They are not mass produced in bulk and so economies of scale do not come into play. Compared to the price of other forms of tobacco such as pipe tobacco or a decent cigar they are inexpensive. I can only hope that your comment “Bye bye snuffhouse.” is a statement of fact and that you will not be returning.
I admire/resent abraxas/sir Walter scott for successfully pulling off such a successful marketing scam though. They are no better than any toque snuff but sell for 3-8 times the cost. Bravo, scammers. Bravo!
This sentiment of mine about both abraxas/sir Walter has been building for months as any snuffhouse regular has noticed. It’s just taken 14 pints of Weiss beer to express. No doubt means the end of my membership here but at least I’ve finally been able to be honest about a scam I’m disgusted about.
