Please tell what is your pinch size for snuff? For example, would it be apple seed sized for dry snuffs or perhaps cantaloupe seed sized for moist snuffs?

Your analogy fits my habits spot on. 

The coarser, more moist snuffs go in larger piles on the back of my hand.

Finer, dryer snuffs get pinched for better release control.

Pretty much apple seed sized for all. I don’t pinch, I spoon.

As much as I can grab with my thumb and forefinger

Pea-sized for everything!
