What is that flavor that is used in Straight Dip ?

The flavor of straight dip has always reminded me of Celery, or celery salt. Could that be it ? Anybody know what it is ?

I have always got a bbq’d pork product from straight dip

I agree. To me it tastes like a celery stick loaded with natural dip and overdosed with sugar :-&. I’ve never tried a straight dip that I’ve enjoyed.

Out of all the straight dips, Copenhagen straight I found was the nicest, as in it didn’t have the strongest straight flavour, skoal was so sweet it wasn’t usable, Cope straight was copenhagen but more straight flavour, grizzly was saltier and timberwolf lasted the longest but was just bbq sweet. I have never used enough straight to get really acquainted with the taste of it though, just every now and then.

I haven’t tried the Grizzly, maybe the saltiness will offset some of the sweetness. I got shipped a tub of Stoker’s Straight on error and although I didn’t like it I bet anybody who likes straight would. It’s got the typical excellent cut of Stokers and very juicy.

Like all grizzly, the flavour isn’t as in your face as the others and you can still get some tobacco flavour through, normally why I like grizzly.

Cope tastes like it has a fair measure of geranium essence.
