I just have a paisley print green bandana I ordered for 99 cents on eBay. It’s good after a couple washes, but just not soft enough. Wondering what everyone else uses and where they got theirs from?

X

Kleenex tissues, but I’m only an around the house snuffer.

N

Handkerchiefs from the dollar store. 3 for a dollar. Starchy at first, but they get softer and softer.

J

Good to know I don’t need to spend money on a silk handkerchief for 6 dollars. Would feel good though

M

Get mine from Hobby Lobby, on sale they go for $.25-.50 each. edm

O

I just use Kleenex or toilet paper. Don’t really need to buy a handkerchief.

N

The thing I like about the kerchief is that it occasionally comes in handy for non-snuff use when out and about.

A

Paisley snuff hankies as sold online. Fortunately I live near an old fashioned London market and I can get 2 for £3 on a headshop stall. After a great many washes they are much softer than Kleenex and last, as far as I can see, forever. I have some form G Smiths that are 20 years old and have decades left in them.

P

Paper towels, always. What does a poor man throw away but a rich man keeps it in his pocket???

A

His snot?

There’s a farmer’s market here in Nashville, TN and someone has great deals on some silky handkerchiefs here so I snagged up a bunch of them. I also have some nice brown ones Tom sent me from snuffgear. Excellent!

P

@snuffster, you are right of course!! Whenever I’m alone outside and nobody is watching, I just spray the lawn!!

W

@Pieter does it make the grass grow any better? Stefan

I have 3 handkerchiefs right now. One I got for free about 6 years ago. It’s really soft, but I don’t carry it too often anymore (it’s royal blue, and shows the snuff blobs more than the other 2). The others are dark dark blue, bought at a discount dept. store a while back. They do get softer with age and repeated washing. I usually hand wash mine at the end of the night and hang it up, then iron and fold it before work the next day.

I have about 15 handkerchiefs. I go through 1 or 2 daily. You can never have too many, and ultmately they are cheaper than disposable paper. I just throw them in the laundry whenever a load is getting done.

I just use old bandanas. I found some in my house and I just wash them with my clothes. I used to use tissues, but I was going through a ton and my nose would get chapped more quickly.

J

Good advice everyone, I’ve found my paisly print bandana to be getting softer and softer, especially with blowing this Poschl out every ten minutes. And I do notice I need to hand wash in the sink every night and I clothespin it to the cabinet handles to airdry at night. I checked out @spyro the wholesaleforeveryone website and would highly recommend this form of bulk hankie/bandana ordering when you want to stock up!!! Also, try this sometime if your nose becomes chaffed - rinse your handkerchief in the sink, fold it up and put it in the freezer for about twenty minutes. Then, take it out, put it up to your nose and hold it! Also gets your nose cleared and in the mood for another dose of snuff guaranteed!

J

Lol wanted to add I clothespin to the cabinet door handles in my house because in Florida, you could hang it outside on Tuesday and it wouldn’t be dry until Friday!

S

anything with Minnesota Vikings logo on it makes a fine washable container for your nose waste!

T

Personally, I like the plaid handkerchiefs from snuffstore, but then I like plaid in general.

K

I bought two packs of twelve white handkerchiefs off ebay and dyed them brown. Cost me £7 in total.

P

Kleenex works just fine for me.

H

I laid claim to all the red wash clothes in the household. They wash clean and hold more than anything else I’ve tried. The freezer trick sounds cool, I’ll have to try that sometime.

G

I bought a package of 12 white handkerchiefs and then I dyed them different colors to match whatever I’m wearing or to perhaps stand out. That’s how a true gent does it ; )

P

I purchased mine at an evil place that starts w/Wal and ends w/Mart. I usally only use them when stuck w/out a paper towel and it appears my nose has ruptured. They do come in handy: the other day a female coworker was in distress, ie tears, and i felt the gentileman to offer a handkerchief.

B

Got myself a crimson silk hanky last week and impregnated it with an emulsion of patchouli oil. It’s absolutely heavenly (if a bit foppish!)

J

Aw that sounds like the perfect ending to nose bliss

H

I get mine in bulk on e-bay. I have quite a few black with skulls on them (biker bandanas maybe?) which are quite inapropriate for church. Since I’m a convert, I can get away with them. Also mulit-color bulk (a red, a blue, a brown, a black etc.) I get large bandanas that last twice as long as a regular would last due to the fact that I first fold them into thirds, folding one third onto the other. When the first third gets caked on I change the folds and use the clean third. The middle third remains clean and comes in contact with my pocket.

J

@howdydave, yes! The extra large bandanas are best and funny you would say that it’s exactly how I fold mine
