nicotine helps the body metabolize and eliminate caffeine, hence the craving for a smoke or snuff with a cup of coffee. It’s not just habit or ritual.

@Mouse I agree with that totally…When I decided to stop smoking a year ago I stopped drinking coffee for long time until recently… I couldn’t smoke without coffee or drink coffee without smoking… Now 13 months plus without a cigarette and I  feel so happy I took that decision finally…

When i am up the pub and have a pint of bitter i have kendal brown up my nose.brings out a great tobacco/hops flavors all at the same time.its great try it .

I’ve been enjoying lime toast along with a lime beer during the hot weather here lately.

Coffee or tea are great. But, my beverage of choice for any situation will always be Coca-Cola.

@snuffykib I wish I could get proper bitters here in the US. I wasn’t taking snuff when I last had a pint of bitter, but I’ll bet it’s a wonderful combination. Here in the US, I’ll settle for coffee or some Cabernet Sauvignon, depending on if it’s daytime or night time…

The last proper bitter that I had in the USA was Schmidt’s of Philadelphia. I haven’t seen it on the market for about 20 years.

Coffee or Earl Grey for me.

Its been 10 years since ive been to USA.i went to N.Y. and Philadelphia.had a great time out there.if i remember there was a choice of English bitters and such like about.mainly lager though i drank back then.but i guess a lot has changed with the import laws.etc.

Black tea, earl grey, fruit tea, herbal tea, different tea for different snuff. And sometimes just water.

Fresh ground Columbian coffee beans brewed in a percolator[Black] Refrigerated Sun brewed herbal Tulsa tea [vana or rama] slightly sweeten with blue agave.

I forgot to say also I like Indian Chai with my Indian snuffs mmmmm!

Coffee and Toast

Usually hot coffee, iced tea, or Diet Coke. Occasionally a shot of bourbon or a good brown ale.

Lately, depending on time of day has been coffee or tea then toward evening a pint of bitter beer followed by a shot of good rye… then one more snort (of good snuff) and off to bed I go.

I was never a heavy coffee drinker, but it just hits the spot with snuff. Perhaps it’s the steam? Who knows. I just like it that way.

I like matching it to the snuff. Lady Grey / Earl Grey with KBs; Lime toast / Toque Rose / Dragün with White wine / sparkling or cider; Viking Dark with coffee. Eveything with whiskey and soda.

I found cheap coffee goes well with snuff as much as those expensive ones.

Right now a good Rye Whiskey neat… nice!

I don’t take much menthol anymore but I always found Hedges and properly cellared bitter to be a match made in heaven. It’s got to be real beer though, not pulled up by gas and chilled to death, but pumped by hand from a real beer cellar.

My fave combo is a nice plain scotch or toast and a cup of coffee. Or the same with an ice cold lager.

A nice strong cup of Yorkshire Tea with milk and sugar.

right now I am drinking my first cup of Guayusa. Its from Ecuador and has some simlarites to Yerba Mate. So far I think I prefer the Yerba Mate. It is nice though.

London Jack - spot on! I’m currently enjoying Yorkshire Gold (milk, two sugars, squeeze the teabag) and Sternecker Echt Fresko. Delightful.

Kool aid. Any flavor except orange. (and I’m only sort of just kidding) Usually coffee, beer, or bourbon though.

Iced coffee or my favorite soda ‘Moxie’.

Yerba Mate with blue agave

For me it is either a good scotch, right now it is Balvenie 15yr or Glenmorangie. If im not in the mood for scotch then usually a nice micro brew or a good belgian trappist beer. Let me also say that I have had issues with my drinking, and it is under control as I only use it on friday night and sunday on the golf course. I was pretty bad off for a while there so I had to learn self control.

Italian espresso… which means ONE sip…no sugar no milk…just caffeine

These days I like Ovaltine, Moxie, or water.

Iced coffee or iced tea (black Indian tea with spearmint – very strong.)

@howdydave a few places in the Twin Cities has Fuller’s ESB on tap, not nearly as good in England, but still great, might want to search for around your neck of the woods for it

love to snuff while drinking beer. well, since i cannot drink beer all the time, everything else is fine with me BUT with good beer, mh, snuff is going to the next level HAR HAR

A large glass of milk when using FUBAR BOHICA. Good god this snuff is insane…
