I used to keep my snuff in a large round sweety tin along with my smoking paraphernalia, since im snuffing only now this old tin was to big so im relocating my meagre snuff collection to a new tin, the snuff van
What do you guys keep your snuffs in?
An IKEA Expedit bookshelf.
Various drawers and cupboards…
I have 2 cigar boxes and 2 plastic containers, that all fit in my desk drawer.
One little plastic drawer/organizer thing.
I’ll post pics of my snuff on the shelf later. Since the Expedit shelves are shaped like cubes, I can fit quite a bit of snuff in one cube. Right now I have 3 cubes occupied, 1 for US scotches and British snuffs, 1 for German, African and other European snuffs and 1 for bulk quantities.
I scoured the tobacconists for some lovely cigar boxes. Tall ones for the large tins and flat trays type boxes for the small tins and plastic box thingies.
Mine just sit on my desk.
My bottom desk drawer. Its about 7" deep, 1 foot wide and probably 2 feet long. It holds 90% of my snuff and tobacco. The remainder is in a few plastic boxes under the desk and about 20 tins in my handy drawer (the one on the top of my computer desk) that I’m trying to finish. There’s a picture of my big desk drawer in another thread someplace.
Mostly on the computer desk, but I frequently move them around the house for accessibility. @Stu90 I like the van! It’s making me crave Chocolate.
in my nose. of course
I like the OXO pop top avail at BBB. Works and stacks nicely.
I bought a case of 12 wide mouth canning jars awhile back and keep all of my snuffs in them in the fridge. I don’t know if its necessary but it gets pretty warm in my house as I work swing and don’t run the air when I’m gone. I noticed some 32 oz plastic freezer jars made by Ball earlier today at Walmart that have screw top lids that would work pretty well too. Not as cool as the Cadburys van though.
I keep most of my snuffs in a cigar humidor to preserve the moisture. Some containers seem to work quite well left out in the open (F&T is one) while others seem to dry out when not in the humidifier.
