Hello anyone, I wanted to bring this up since I don’t remember seeing this subject on another thread. It’s about thinking about what flavor I really want because I have the tendency to just sniff through the whole collection and eventually forget what I was doing. Today it was; should I order this very enticing flavor from Toque (Natural)? thinking about my money, shipping, which site and then the bottle of Ganga locked with me. I take it; even if logically the Sparrow would be more in line with the Natural, and I’m good for the next hour. I mean; what’s with the nosebuds desiring Plain to having it quelled by Very Perfumed? I do realize that I’m pretty new to this and a tin of Wilson’s Irish High Toast (I figure a 10 gr version of the F&T) which is highly recommended as “the one” is on the way. What do you guys do/think? oh yeah, I have been on vacation so this had a chance of happening more.
? I reckon you should stay on holiday.
lol!
Thats why many of us have a very wide variety in our collection. Personal preference can change daily or hourly. Other than actual scents, a lot also depends on your preference of grind & moisture. On average I will use a minimum of 3 varieties in a day, sometimes a lot more. So just try a good variety and pick your own favorites. Wilsons IHT is a great snuff but if you personally don’t care for it thats alright, hold on to it because snuff users tastes change quite often. A snuff you might not like today may be your favorite in a month. A snuff someone hates is a snuff someone else loves.
I agree Trout. A week ago I thought Wilson’s Lavender was way to flowerey. Last night I couldn’t get enough of it! Lavender of all things!
I usually carry around 5 snuff tins with me when i go out and have all my tins up on my desk , i can never know what I’ll want next. Maybe now some are just repulsive and ten minutes later I’ll have my head stuck in those tins.
When I go out I always regret not having one more with me. Darn I wish I could snuff this one now. Never a major disapointment though as snuff is always good.
I personally do not leave home without at least 3 different snuffs. Trout is correct, buy as many different kinds as you can afford, most here have more than we know what to do with. But the great thing about it is, if you store the snuff properly we always have something for all occasions. This past week I have been into fine grinded plain snuffs so sparrow hit the spot. The week before Jaap Bess’s latakia was my choice. This week I am sure Roderick and Toque will have my attention since I placed an order with him on friday and I am really looking forward to trying the latest. There has only been one snuff I have tried that I would snuff it and only it…unfortunatly it is no longer available Spanish Jewel…I hope our friend Pedro is ok, we haven’t heard from him in quite some time.
Thank you all. Maybe the bullets will help with this, 3 or 4 in my pocket. thanks again
I really, really, really am intrigued by this name Spanish Jewel that I hear mentioned almost daily on this board. I wish I had taken to this hobby a year or whatever ago when this was available. You guys have me very envious.
Just looked him up. < http://snuffhouse.org/account/157/\> He has not been on the board since August. He has his email address published though. I don’t know him though, so I won’t pester him.
