Having been avoiding purchasing snuff after spending £75 on the Mr Snuff site during its closure, I couldn’t help but dive in on the Wilson’s half-price offer on their new website. My purchases are displayed below: 
(half pound tubs were a few pennies cheaper than full pound tubs surprisingly, and considering the size of the offer, and my wonderful lack of current employment, I think I’ll need as many pennies as possible in future.) What did everybody else order in this wonderful promotion?

Well I only ordered about half of what I wanted because, for the USA, after 3 pounds total weight the site quits letting you order, and the shipping is killer expensive. Considering canceling mine!! Not a great first experiance with them I tell you, although I do appreciate the offer. I did not enjoy the experience of removing beloved snuffs from my cart until the shipping responded again, no one should have to pick and chose like that! Lets see, do I throw out the HDT #22, or the Grand Cairo, maybe the gold label, Oh, and the SP Silver is by 12 tin case only, Hmm. Shipping & Handling £ 23.50!
Well, that´s pretty much the same shipping I´d paid for larger orders from the States. Which is why I didn´t order too often. Would be interesting how shipping will change at Mr. Snuff and Nic Rush, once they´re operating from the UK.
Am I missing something regarding the shipping costs? With no discounts included the following was arrived at considering “standard” prices 1 10g tin from Wilsons is $1.18, s/h $4.6 total $5.78, 0.578/g 1 10g tin from MrSnuff is $2.77, s/h $7.95 total $10.72, 1.072/g 10 10g tins from Wilsons, $11.8 plus $7.67 s/h total $19.47, 0.19/g 10 10g tins from MrSnuff, $27.7 plus $7.95 s/h total $35.65, 0.35/g 1 450g drum from Wilsons is $30.99 plus $13.05 s/h total $44.04, 0.098/g 1 450g drum from MrSnuff is $52.54 plus $7.95 s/h total $60.49, 0.13/g It would appear the shipping is not so damning?

Sorry for the ordering rant, but it was not as smooth as silk, and I finally posted such to Wilsons direct. They were kind enough to extend this offer, but feedback was warranted. There is joy in the order though: 1/2 pound Tubs: SS Grand Cairo SP 2 Tins: Rose of Sharrow Gold Label Brunswick 12 of SP Silver One small tin assortment, I like surprises, and need the labels for my 3 OZ containers. I am looking forward to the SP Silver and SP 2. There is a long list of snuffs i was not able to order, they are great ones.

Okay, Here is my order 1/2lb drums Extra Crumbs of Comfort Raspberry Large Tins Grand Cairo Vanilla Ice Honey Menthol Irish High Toast SP2 And, I figured since i was paying for shipping anyway I would get another snuff box. I love the Wilson’s boxes. They are a little bulky, but they hold so much you can take them on trips and know you are covered. Anyway, after placing orders before with Snuff store and Rajeks in the past, I thought the shipping was a fair deal (~15 USD for 1.2lbs of snuff). Now I’ll just keep my fingers crossed and hope this payment thing works out.
I will now be entirely prepared for a snuffpocalypse.
Large tins: Tom Buck, Irish ‘D’ High Toast, Strasbourg, Royal George. This will go into the freezer where I don’t have any more room for snuff. Medium tins: Lemon Grove, ChocolateOrange, Best SP, French Carotte, Morlaix, Princes, Thyme & Lemon and Rose of Sharrow. This is all new to me and that’s why I ordered medium tins. Snuff was 18.24 pounds less disc= 9.16 pounds plus 6.00 pounds shipping = Total 15.08 pounds / R177.64. I’m happy.
I’ve been greedy this time and ordered pretty much everything in 5g tins, except a few varieties I already had. Just want to test everything out, been snuffing for almost 4 months and settled on a few snuffs but still looking for a few varieties that I can enjoy snuffing occasionally. I order a 0.5lb drum of Brunswick (fav) and a 0.5lb of Best SP(yum). As I said everything else in 5g tins, except one or two in medium 10g tins.
