What did you receive for Christmas? Did any one get snuff like myself?
just what I wanted, nothing. I don’t celebrate holidays.
A pea coat, a coffee grinder and matching French press, and a Joe Pass compilation with all his recordings on Pacific records. It was a good Christmas but now I know I’m getting older for sure.
I’m like @Mouse really don’t like getting gifts, always happy to just know that the family is safe but that doesn’t stop them. My youngest daughter gave me a large can of Tube Rose
I got to spend the day with my grandson. The best gift of all.
@Faust I heard that. My grandson loved the shirts that I made him. Grandkids Rock
Mr. Brog mini pipe. and a nice package from Abraxas…Cafe 11 and Premium Fine. Disappointed in the Mr. Brog… more than made up for by the Abraxas.
The dogs bollocks of electric toothbrushes (I have this thing about making sure my teeth are really clean, its my only tweek lol), an iPad and a small freezer specifically for me to keep my snus in, think my OH finally got sick of having no room for food! lol
I didn’t receive any snuff but I got a bit of cash which I will be very tempted to spend on some.
Not a whiff of snuff (didn’t expect any), but I’m off to England tomorrow (weather permitting) and will hit a couple of shops for some.
Same here. Spent the whole day with my kids and wife. Also visited with my parents and brother. Was a great Christmas this year. I hope every one had a blessed day and no one got in trouble. Happy holidays everyone.
Good time with the family. Also an ipod, some assorted beers, etc. All good.
I got sunglasses and gift pack filled with snuff
3DS, Mario Kart 7, and a ton of hankies. It was a good evening to be me.
2 Hankies, 2 Bowties and 3 Books; A Dance with Dragons by George R.R. Martin, Tobacco a Cultural History by Iain Gately, & A Pinch of Snuff by Dean Snift. The Pinch of Snuff book is stupendous!
A cool Haines mug, an olive wood pestle and mortar with some dried chillies/peppercorns etc, some chilli sauces, a tweed satchel, 2 CDs (Ian Anderson and Motorhead) and, to my great suprise and delight, six 25g tins of Toque with one of their ‘Get Snuffed’ t-shirts. To say I am happy is an understatement, my wife is amazing!
A fiancee. I got engaged.
No Xmas Tree but I did recieve -Abraxas Cafe11 the big can, A pipe shaped pipe tool, and a tee shirt with my demigod face Frank Zappa http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player\\_detailpage&v=MANPRkcoTqo
Main presents were a Kindle Paperwhite and a Paul Smith wallet. Plus, a lovely set of freebies from Toque is on in the pipeline for being lucky enough to find a shiny sixpence in my tin of Christmas Pudding!
A Christmas tree that cost 1 penny - as we didn’t get round to getting one early and by that time on Xmas eve they were giving them away - but the best present was a kangaroo scrotum from my son in Australia. It really is a roo’s nut bag, which apparently is a traditional Aboriginie craft - it just looks like one of those old fashioned pouches that hold gold coins in a medieval movie, if it didn’t have a description on the box you would think it was just an old fashioned wallet - and perfectly fits around my day to day silver snuff box. Odd but cool.
Some clothes, Borderlands 2 for PS3, Paper Mario Sticker Star & Virtue’s Last Reward for 3DS, The New Super Mario Bros. U, and a Wii U Pro controller
got to update my earlier comment about getting nothing. Someone gave me a roll of Hello Kitty duct tape.
A LED lighted caribener, new socks and a new humidor. Good stuff all…
A machine which converts dried soybeans into soymilk. Its a pretty amazing gizmo actually, it can do other beans and nuts too. I like my soymilk raw and unadulterated but finding organic, non gmo, unsweetened, unflavored, additive-free soymilk has gone from a challenge to a nightmare, so this thing is fantastic news. Already made a batch, and its good. Now to get some more beans…
@Xander: That sounds pretty cool, I take it you have a source for good beans? I received some clothes, a shop vac, a weed eater, and an Amazon gift card.
@cstokes4 Yes, it came with about 2 batches worth of beans, and a website of the farm that grew them. They can be ordered from there. If you need it yourself, I’ll look it up. However, I’ll probably buy them locally from my co-op which sells lots of beans in bulk.
I was in the monastery. When I woke up on Christmas morning I found a book of Akathists (an akathist is a profound, devotional poem or chant,) 2 small Icons and a pricy semi-sweet chocolate bar left at the door of my cell by the abbot.
My sister give me “The Gallaudet Dictionary of American Sign Language.” (Gallaudet is a University for the Deaf in Washington, DC.)
A sachel of foriegn coins from a friend, best gift in years. Other than that, nada. i was more interested in making my stepsons and daughters Christmas spectaluar, in which i succeded. I order what i want throughout the year, not as much as i would like, but, tax time i my splurge time. Also, the XBox i bought for the stepson is seeing quite a bit of play from me.
