786 I got a box of hand-warmers, some wool socks, a bag of bubble gum, a box of Junior Mints-flavored cocoa, a book about the Jinn in Classical Islam, and a plush Twilight Sparkle! Yay!
(Twilight is my favorite pony because she is the most like me: studious and a bit tightly wound)
What did everypony else receive?
Mainly clothing. Shirts, shoes, etc. I did provide myself with some more SWS Roslein and Dholakia Madras Toast.
I got a bunch of chocolate from my kids, a massive pillow from my wife, and a few more estate pipes to restore (two of which I can’t identify yet) from my mom.
A week off work, and nuthin’ else.
Nothing, unless you count the news that my Spiritual Father has cancer and 14 months to live, but that’s not much of a “Christmas present”.
From my wife: A Peterson Kinsale XL26 smooth bent bulldog, and a Stanwell WO Larsen 2015 sandblast panel pipe, plus a lighter and pipe tool
Three Cohiba (Cuban) Esplendidos
A friend invited me for turkey and plum pudding for lunch, and another invited me for roast lamb in the evening. The latter already gave me a lot of well paid work this year, just when I most needed it, and it was an excellent meal, so I forgive the lack of a gift, despite the premium cigar and the book about wombats I gave him.
I got another day of life
My wife got me this 
Socks and a couple of model kits.
A jumper, socks, a couple bottles of beer, a little bottle of whisky and a cold. Joy to the world 
glad i still have everything I had before the ‘big day’.

@basement_shaman “I got another day of life” – when it all comes down to it, that’s the blessing we all need to count. One can too easily let the adversity of others, or the negligences of ones past connections matter too much, but ultimately it all seems pretty minor to having the chance to enjoy another day of living.
