What are your favorite(s) Christmas Snuffs and why?

I like OM Pumpernickel Toast & DK gingerbread.I love the spice flavors it gives me also I love gingerbread cookies :)>-

My fave is Old Mill Solstice 2014. Of course because of the ingredients and spices but it’s really the way those combine with the tobacco that just brings me to December. And as it ages it just gets better too. Not overly done with spice, not a potpourri , it’s almost edible but just smells so good!

I got a tin of Wilson’s Winter Warmer two weeks ago and may open it tonight. Not sure if it is considered a Christmas snuff.

For me it has to be Toque Christmas Pudding because it has the aroma of Christmas

Toque Spruce. Thanks @franko954

For me F&T Old Paris and F&T Seville, because both of those snuffs have typical scents for christmass season for me. Dates and Oranges are a must on Christmass table in my family. Jack

Solstice 2015 will have some similarities and some rather radical departures from the 2014 vintage.  In honor of the classic Tom & Jerry cocktail, there’s both rum and brandy in the mix.  A good percentage of dark roast coffee to add some very serious baritone notes, but this is definitely not a coffee snuff.

Classic ‘pudding’ notes of black treacle, figs, plums, caramelized lemon and orange zest along with the entire array of warm spices; cloves, cinnamon, allspice and a hint of nutmeg round out the whole, with a nice dash of Cypress sea salt to counter the sweetness a bit.

One of the more interesting notes is the subtle hint of Colorado Blue Spruce scent coming through from the aging crate, and the very light smoke coming from some Virginia Light Fired Orinoco.

Winter Solstice 2015 will arrive in Bethpage, TN on Monday December 21, 2015 at 10:49 PM CST (4:49 AM Tuesday, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

I hope to have this snuff in the pipeline one week in advance of the Solstice so we can all hoist a few and celebrate the arrival of winter with a proper dram and a few pinches.

Set your clocks

Thanks Chef Daniel for more info about the new Winter Solstice2015 I have my clock set.I Hope everything works out like u want.Peace and Aloha :-c

I was going through my snuffs and there are quite a few fantastic Winter Holiday type snuffs. My newest to this list is OM Buttered Rum Toddy. Some others are Toque Xmas Pudding/Pumpkin Pie/ Camphor& Clove, SG CCC, most all Bernard snuffs, and OM Solstice 2014/ Ecrous Brulee. Now I can take these snuffs any time of year and enjoy them but they are that much more special when the days grow shorter.
