I wonder can anyone answer my question or has anyone had a similar experience. Now and then about one day a week I take snuff and sneeze sneeze sneeze about 30/50 times non stop it’s a nightmare so much sneezing makes me dizzy. Why does this happen ?? Sometimes sp does it and menthol does it to me ?? It’s like an itch at the back of my nose ?? Any ideas ??? Weird huh. !
Last sneezing fit I counted 67 over a half hour period !!! Wow
Probably just something in the snuff irritating your sinuses, maybe sniffing too hard. I know menthol makes me sneeze quite a bit, so does sniffing slightly too hard.
Hmmm tecnique still the same light breath same snuff also say I can use it all day then boom sneeze attack non stop it’s annoying now !!!
sounds like allergies. In fact that was my life before snuff. And certain snuffs Dr. J.R. Justice make me do this still.
Really !!! Ok well I suffer with hayfever … So is this going to be a process of elimination ? Which snuffs do it or take piriton anti allergie med ?. Or are you saying it is not the snuff but the environment around me affecting when I take snuff due to maybe pollen count up more or dust maybe … Thank you all for your replys .
Yeap, spring and fall kill me with allergies, Tree pollen in the spring then Rag weed in the fall. can’t wait for a killing frost. Also the landlord is harvesting feed corn so that dust is in the air adding it’s own special little misories. edm
Sneezing is usually down to your nose not being completely used to snuff - it can take a while to settle down. Occasionally a certain snuff or snuff type will always do it - I have never been able to take Smiths snuffs without sneezing and you just learn what to avoid. Very occasionally someone will find snuff is just not for them but that’s rare and the sneezing will usually settle down.
I sneeze seldom now, after 4 years of snuff. BUT… there is no rhyme or reason to when I do sneeze now. It happens all across my rotation, no one or a few snuffs stand out as the culprit. I chalk it up to my nose just needs to rid itself of some offending something. My daughter on the other hand will sneeze multiple times with every pinch. Granted she only has 4-5 pinches a year and is a sensitive type to begin with.
Thanks everyone im using a plain one today and not been bad at all il use l260 tomorrow and see what happens …i think maybe menthol is the cause or if im fine tomorrow il get allregy tested … thanks again
I’ve been thinking that certain seasonal allergies can combine with certain snuff to trigger sneezing. I love O&G, and have been able to take it without sneezing in the past. These days though, it sets me off like crazy. All other snuffs have been fine–no sneezing. I’ll try the O&G again in a week.
Moeda Cristal from Brazil sends me into sneezing fits. There must be something about its flavoring that does this. Other than that, I get maybe 10 sneezes a day which don’t bother me. So @joe it could be an ingredient in the flavoring.
I normally never sneeze with snuff, but I had a pinch of a schmalzler this afternoon and sneezed about 30 times back-to-back. Very much unlike me, but after I switched back to Gold Label I was fine. It depends on the day for me, and probably atmospheric conditions, I have an extremely sensitive nose.
Interesting how we can all take a certain snuff then bang all of a sudden sneeze fits and we have to leave it … I know when ur body has enough nic it makes you hiccup … Is this sneezing the body’s way to tell us it’s had enough of a certain flavour or ingredient ??? or is it all down to atmospheric conditions and allergies ? . Il see what happens on l260 tomorrow I’m gonna need tons of tissues for nose drip haha ! Lavender kicked me of big time yesterday an hour or so of sneezing but the day befor I was fine on it … Odd …
allergies usaly develop over several exsposures. A certain scent can cause allergies. sad but true.
I find I sneeze more often when there is too long a waiting period between pinches… something that I’m sure snuff vendors and millers will be happy to read. 
I get sneezing fits much seldom after starting snuff taking.
