Ok dont ask me why I’m asking this lol but how many staffers use those nose cutters . I used one the other day and for sniffing purposes I wish I hadn’t . It just feels nicer to snuff before I mowed the nose hair away ,? Anyone have comments on this apart from saying Dave your crazy
I keep mine trimmed so that I don’t look like I have tusk coming out of my nose.
This just made me notice the fact that I haven’t noticed my nose hairs in months. Well, this might sound odd, but I was constantly plucking nose hairs at the rate of several each day. I’d usually get them with my fingers but on occasion I have had to resort to tweezers. I would do this because they would sort of tickle a little bit so I removed them. They grew back very quickly, for good reason so there was a constant rotation. I was annoyed that I had that habit as I had been noticing it for years. Since I started snuffing I don’t think that I’ve plucked a single one. I have trimmed them a couple of times when they started growing out, but otherwise it solved my nose hair fixation. I think the more hair that you have up there. the more surface area there is for the snuff to cling to thus only potentiating the experience.
Poke yourself in the eye… that’s the face I make when I pluck a nose hair. I love my little trimmer. Sounds like a weed eater going through a patch of dollar weed.
I only trim them when they start tickling the outside of my nose. I think it’s manly to have nose hair though.
I yank them out when they get a little too bold and think they can join my moustache. I must admit to plcucking less since I took up snuff, though. I used to be more agressive with it. Plucking one always generates a massive sneeze though, so its probably good for my nose cleaning regimen.
i bought one of those nose trimmers, it put me on my knees. yanked out every hair instead of cutting them. a terrible experience. I have stuck to my tiny scissors ever since.
What if they’re growing on the outside of your nose? But, seriously… I give mine a trim when it looks like there’s a Juniper bush growing in the middle of my face. It’s easier to do after a few sniffs, actually. The hair sort of clumps together. My apologies to anyone eating breakfast whilst reading this.
I can only recommend investing a bit more for such a device. My gf gave me a very cheap one once, and that was rather a toy for s/m dungeons. Still hurts thinking about it…
I got one of those Philips Norelco models with the angled cutter head. It works great and NO pulling, just cutting. The cutter has some kind of protective shield over it so it wont cut your skin, just the hair. It comes with 2 attachments for doing eyebrows too. Unless of course you like the Andy Rooney look! >:-)
I got one of the 99p ones from the pound shop lol never ever again , now I use or used should I say this all in one beard trimmer/nose trimmer I found in florida man I miss it their lol we go every year but next year we are of to texas . Can’t wait
@davec32 Try New Mexico for a holiday. (U.S. State, right next door to Texas.) Can’t guarantee fun and sun in Winter, but the skiing is nice.
I don’t mind plucking the nose hairs at all. It used to make my eyes water but now I can pull them out with no worries whatsoever. I can even slowly tug on them until they come out. I guess it’s a conditioning thing.
