I’m snuffing Irish Toast no. 21 right now, and can’t help but notice the eerie aluminum aftertaste. Found the same thing in other Wilson’s flavors. With Grand Cairo and Natural I found it especially pronounced. I’m sure the experience is different in bulk. Sad about the toast. Such a lovely, subtle snuff. It’s pretty muddled by the unwelcome addition of aluminum.
Also: never noticed it in any other brand. Can’t find it in McChrystal’s or Toque, despite their similar tins.
That is a shame .I would contact Wilsons and alert them to this problem. Aluminum is a leading contributor to alzheimers. It creates a coating on the brain the blocks memory function. Some say that aluminum, lead and mercury on the brain is not the cause of the disease. That is big business talking.
I disagree about the aluminum but lead and mercury are definatily unquestionably not good for brains or bodies.

It’s true about aluminum hats. I’ve worn one in public for years, and not a single alien has sent me signals. They’re so effective, even people tend to look away. Coincidence, or conspiracy?

And I think I will contact Wilson’s. I wonder if they’ve noticed the abundance of complaints about their tins. Vacuum tins are far superior.
Wilson’s tins are made of steel, so it shouldn’t be an aluminum smell, but they are prone to rusting, particularly from the moister snuffs. F&T are aluminum, though.

Should’ve said “metallic.” Do you ever get that smell in them, Xander?
only if the tins are really old
