I don’t know about cornering it (that does sound good). I emailed MrSnuff about the 500g tubes of Viking Dark and they said they are working on getting more. I had to obtain some through different channels to tide me over

Contacted Mr. Snuff about a month ago to inquire about restock of V Dark. I was told a few days. Still anxiously waiting!!!
I had both Viking Dark and Black Coffee bulk in my cart saved when I ordered 2 weeks ago. Back ordered. Sucks. I didn’t check stock. I just ordered my cart when I got the money. They should be fresh at least.

Yes, “chips” would typically be called “French fries” or “fries” here, sometimes thicker “fries” are called “steak fries” - more likely served with a steak. Also yes, “queues” are called “lines” here, there’s no other term for them that I’ve heard, except the rare occasion when someone borrows your term. So, correct me if I’m mistaken, but it seems more likely for a British person than us to order chips alone- while in the US they’re almost always eaten with a hot sandwich or certain other entrees.
I could eat some scraps, now that I’m aware of them! I do like the fried fish. Actually have been meaning to check out a couple of fish and chips places around my area. I don’t know if it’d be as good as across the pond though…

I had no idea they were still in existence someplace, but there you go. One of the first times I was in the UK, I think it was Glasgow, I found a hole in the wall and asked for fish & chips. Boy, I sure looked like a dummy when they said, “yeah, what kind of fish?” and then gestured to a board behind them with about 25 variations of “fish & chips” Good grief! I was so overwhelmed (and probably drunk) that I opted for the first and cheapest variety.

ok, after my brief foray in to the mix of Viking Dark and WoS #22 (which is quite good) I had to have some straight Viking Dark this evening. 3 or 4 big pinches later and I have to say this is my favorite so far. Glad I have some more coming, and can’t wait until the 500g tubes are back in stock!
But the fried fish is so good! Anyways, I have a tin of Viking Dark, and one of the Blonde that haven’t been cracked yet. I do like the brown. Maybe the Dark deserves cracking open, so I can relate… Thank’s for the link @Xander

Was waiting for V Dark to be back in stock. Could not wait any longer and placed an order with Mr. Snuff. Two days later, the 25g tins are back!!! Ahhhhh!
