I’ve been hitting these two pretty hard all day, with a few cleansing spoonfuls of HDT. I’ve heard they are identical. I’m not sure. Similar? Hell yes. I’m detecting, for lack of a better term, a “tarry” scent in Black Magic (I hesitate to use the abbv. “BM” when talking about snuff)…that I don’t get in VD (damn, this is getting strange). I just can’t hear myself telling old granny that I’ve been putting VD and BM up my nose. At least not with a straight face. I love them both, but I would hesitate to put both tins in one jar just to save space. There’s a subtle difference that I can’t quite define. Is it just me? Am I still just full of shit?

Could just be batch variations, plain snuffs suffer from it a lot more than flavored ones. From your description they are still a lot more similar than the all the different batches of FUBAR Grunt

Well said gentlemen. I think we’re in agreement that we disagree I’m jealous of @lunecat‌ for having such a lovely buffet laid out for company. I’ll be there directly. I get a bit of smoke from both, I’m guessing a % of Dark Fired weed in the recipe? I’m not lucky enough to have Silky Dark in my collection. Yet. @n9inchnails‌ that’s got to be the answer, batch variations. I gave up on FUBAR altogether. Too many variations. If it’s going to be that drastic they should put vintage and batch numbers on each tub so we don’t get any more confused than I already are Cheers
