I was excited when my half-kilo order of Viking Dark made it through customs, but puzzled when I actually tried it. It seems more chocolatey/coconutty than smoky/spicy. Has anyone else experienced this, or has any suggestions regarding it?

I know my perception of Viking dark has changed over time. I’m using up the only tin I’ve ever had of it and the flavor seems to have evolved somewhat like that.
