What vegetable scent would you like in a snuff? There are lots of fruity snuffs on the market but hardly no veg snuffs. Let’s give the manufacturers who read this some idea of what’s a good one? Here’s a start: Tomato Garlic Beans Asperges
Tomato is a fruit but I do like the scent of the leaf,Carrots give off a nice aroma when you peel or shred them. I like the smell of cracking open Pea pods. I don’t know how any veggie would synergize with tobacco. It may be better to create an herbal snuff to carry the scent of veggies like corn silk ,red clover, raspberry leaf, dried apple or any combination as a base.
I know I’ve posted this before but it’s just too hard to pass up… If there’s any doubt about “synergy” this informative video should clear things up… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2mPq-ew5vg

Sorry? What were you saying? I have a parsnip up me nose. (Parsnip, so sugary, might actually be a welcome vegetable snuff. Better than Brussels sprouts, anyway)
I have ground garlic into pipe tobacco. Pretty nice, surprisingly/ 8-} also have done onion powder.

How bad was the “ghost aroma” left in the pipe ?
I guess I mis spoke… I ground pipe tobacco with garlic into snuff. so sorry for confusion/
Going along with the theme from @miamimark … I believe Homer considers donuts a vegetable. So how about some Krispy Kreme, Berliner or Beignet flavors?
@snuffysmiff Actually I was just being a “smartass”, no meanness intended. apologies !
How about a V-8 Juice scented snuff? Do you think that would work?
@fredh Get back on your meds. V-8 is only for pipe tobacco, not snuff. =)) =))
@chefdaniel-- I am back on my meds now. Thank you. I should have mentioned that V-8 snuff mixed with Vodka would work GREAT. I’ll bet that you wouldn’t see anything wrong with THAT combination!
Roderick has a seasonal pumpkin snuff, but it more a spiced pumpkin pie. Pumpkin is nasty up close . I like horseradish I don’t think I want it in my nose. I also like habanero ditto for the nose. as for garden fruits Watermelon ,Honeydew, Cantaloupe would be interesting flavors. Is there a Pineapple Snuff ? Meat snuff? Grilled steak, roasted turkey, glazed ham, crispy bacon
Is there a pineapple snuff? Sounds like the very first fruity snuffs to me, but come to think about it, I don’t remember seeing any? Please prove me wrong, so that I can order it.
@SkeG grind up some Erinmore Pipe tobacco NOTE: The pineapple on the label is an old-time symbol for hospitality. Despite its appearance on the tin, the top-dressing contains no pineapple flavor.
Fennel, beet, and rhubarb come to mind
Sweet potato, Dulse (purple seaweed), Brussels sprouts, Okra, Celery, Chickory, Shallot (onion would be a bit much). I second: parsnips and beets. IMO: rhubarb might be ok if it was sweetened a bit first.
I’ll second celery. That sounds refreshing. A slightly sweet cucumber could be good, too.
