Today I was thinking about the little glass jars that Tiger Balm comes and was wondering if anyone here has tried re-using them for snuff storage.  The little styro/plastic liner in the lid comes out and with the paper label fully removed these are quite charming little jars.

What do you think?

I use mason jars. They’re cheap and I know they have an airtight seal. 4oz jars hold 50g, 8oz hold 100g and so on…

Haven’t tried them for snuff. They look like they would be suitable, but you have to be careful about washing them out thouroughly or the smell left over will taint the snuff you put in it. I suppose not so much of a problem if you like menthol/camphor snuffs .

What ever floats your boat. Glass jars are the best. Baby food jars are a nice size if you know some breeders and can get them for free. I just buy the cobalt blue packer jars, 2.5 oz jars work great hold 25 g easy. and they look awesome. I remove the labels from the tins and stick them on the jars.

this way all my jars are uniform in size and color. I also use the 4 Oz & 8 Oz jars for those bulk purchases.
