As anyone ever come across this snuff think its pre 1970s but can’t be sure. Managed to get it super cheap still full and in great condition.

Some of the history behind the mills, the earliest of which was established in 1804 and bought by the Pearson family in 1830, is found below. I can’t vouch for your container but early merchandise by the company is very collectable, and the name (in red) often appears on lists of 19th-early 20th century advertising.
