Turned on a non-snuffer

For my first time, last week, I introduced someone to their first snuff. It was Toque SP Extra and he chose that one from a choice of Spanish Gem, Peach, and Blueberry. I told him how honored I felt especially since he is such a good friend. When we stepped outside he said “Wow everything smells like bergamot, it must be tea time!” lol.

Awesome!

That is great!! You’re first convert…and see how pleasurable it felt. Not like some kind of tobacco gestapo demanding someone to try YOUR tobacco! Awesome job bro!

Its the only way to get the word out about snuff (especially in north america) I have had 2 expierences. one when a guy at bar told me how his grandpa snuffed …so i offered …he didnt seem to enjoy it as he ran to restroom to blow nose…and a second at same bar who was tryin to quit cigs… he seemed to like it , so i gave him my tin of toque bourbon…with the option to return it to the bartender if he didnt want it after a few days of sample it. still a month or so later no toque bourbon for me.

hopefully that fella is still goin strong with the snuff…if all he ever gets is More Toque, he’s doin great!!I’m sure if it struck his fancy, he’ll be ordering a world of different snuffs. I love pretty much everything Roderick has to offer, but there are so many snuffs out there that you feel the need to make it your mission to try them all!!

That is incredible news. I’ve tried a few times with snuff and snus but no luck… I’m not pushy either… I just can’t believe that snuff isn’t more popular… It’s an incredible experience.

I agree…so much more uplifting than polluting your lungs with boring ole cigs…but I guess we’re all human and can get set in our ways. We tend to shun the unfamiliar and different.

Fischer have you tried snus yet? Make sure to add that to your to do list if you haven’t. It’s great I use both… I take a pinch then pop a portion or pris. It’s great pleasing both sense of smell and taste.

Sorry iPhone made me type Fischer lol

hahaha…Eric you need to check out the damn u autocorrect site http://damnyouautocorrect.com/1120/the-big-d/ there is some gut busting stuff on there! And to answer your question…I was a diehard snus fan for quite a while…had built my stash to well over 200 cans. I just slowly transgressed to mainly snuff. I do howver enjoy a nice portion or pris now n again to compliment my snuff. I’m partial to N&J, Claq Qui, Retro, Pall Mall, N Lucky Strike…love that heavy baccy flavor!!

Bergamot is an excellent scent… I loved it before I began to sniff, and when I tried Tom Buck for my first time, I was quite excited that it had a bergamot flavor to it

I’ll say it again…I MUST get some Tom Buck! I’ve so much hooplah about it…it,s gotta be good!

That’s a nice story. Most people I offer act really childish, like I give them drugs, and start sneezing in an overdone( good word ? ) way. Then, while lighting a cigarette : " That can’t be good for you, you will get nose-cancer " I don’t even argue anymore…

@Micheltn very good word…and yes some people can be so pigheaded. Quite funny though, warning you of nose cancer as they fill their lungs with tar and too many poisonous chemicals to count!

Tom Buck was my first snuff ever. The hooplah you’ve heard is correct, in my opinion :stuck_out_tongue: . It is really a nice snuff. Edit : We have a MUCH lower chance of getting any cancer. Smoking will give you cancer faster than snuff ever will

I got a cart full at Mr. Snuff just waitin on my fun money from our tax refund to come in…Friday yay!! Tom Buck is on it…thanx to your review and so many other people seconding the motion!

Way to go @rdunnion! I’ve tried turning people onto it and if they even try it they do the newbie mistake of snorting it clear into their lungs, despite my warning and instruction how to sniff. LOL, people are sure weird. They either say you’re going to get nasal cancer or act like it’s illegal or something. I don’t understand people but I’m sure glad I started taking snuff a few months ago, it’s a whole new world of experience for me. Other smokers are just missing out on a good thing.

I was hoping this would be a parable about how you can’t trust people that don’t use snuff. Oh well. That’s cool too.

I always take a few tins of my old “beginner” snuffs (mostly Poschl/Ozona) to the bar, because inevitably somebody asks about it and wants to try. So I make sure to have some easy-to-use varieties on hand. If the person is exceptionally cool, I let them take one home!

Well unfortunately he lit up shortly after getting outside. However he did ditch the cig halfway through because he was too “stoned” on nic to finish it, lol. Never underestimate the power of the snuff!
