when I was a smoker I loved the taste of Camel cigs. I had a brief period of smoking a pipe and had Turkish pipe tobacco (cant remember the brand)Haven’t run across any Turkish tobacco snuff yet, have I missed them or aren’t there any?
The late Chef Daniel of Old Mill used oriental leaf in some of his blends. Not sure if anyone else does. I like the OM Arabesque which is also known as Turkish toast.
Cornell & Diehl https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipe-tobacco/cornell-diehl/Izmir-Turkish/product_id/79412/bulk/ also Peter Stokkebye http://www.pipesandcigars.com/pipe-tobacco/40011/peter-stokkebye-84-turkish/ The PS is closer to cigarette cut . You could certainly grind your own! Just add salt and hydrate to your taste!
@basement_shaman yes Peter Stokkebye was the brand I smoked! think came in a reddish bag? if I did get some and grind my own, what does the salt actually do?
washing soda brings out more of the available nicotine by changing the ph levels Na2CO3 You can make Na2CO3 from baking soda just spread it out in the oven and bake it for one hour At 400F or 200C. See here http://snuffhouse.com/discussion/6032/snuff-making-101/p1
