When I first tried snuff I got a sampler of Toque’s snuffs and tried out the Coke, Raspberry, Blueberry, and Pomegranite. They were all okay, but I recently tried the whisky and honey and fell in love! It seems reminiscent of american Copenhagen moist snuff. But I was wondering, are the american “scotch” snuffs in any way similar to this flavor?

No.

Nope. American scotches are more like Whiskey and Pig pickin. Much finer, very BBQey. I like both a lot.

I only break out W&H about once every 2-3 weeks now because every time I do, I go on a 3 day/20g bender. Superb snuff.

I have chewed Copenhagen Snuff for 20+ years and I have tried Whiskey and Honey and thrown it in the trash. they do not compare even a little bit. Toque W&H is pure garbage where is Copenhagen Snuff is pure heaven

@Xander I didnt chew it I took a hit in the nose. I am aware that I am supposed to snuff it that way. I am just saying there is no likeness to Copenhagen at all. I have heard of younger kids placing a wad of tobacco in the anus to get a quick buzz from the nicotine. Never tried it myself. I have enough problems with skid marks. hahahahaha kidding

Wow, I just wanna know a little bit about some flavors and I get to hear about people snuffing tobacco into their asses… Anyway… @Kincaidc I only used Cope occasionally (I was a Skoal kinda guy) but I really get the “barrel-aged” flavor in my nose when I use the W&H which probably is what brings up the Copenhagen connotation… Anyway, I think it’s pretty good and I was just wondering what everybody thinks of the American snuff

I quite like American snuff, but I just don’t think it’s anything like Toque Whisky & Honey, which I also enjoy. Apples and oranges, you know. The one Toque that comes closest to the flavor and grind of an American scotch is Natural Toast.

Toque Whiskey & Honey is probably my favourite snuff of all time. Copenhagen dip however, is not for me, and I see no resemblance whatsoever between the two.

Though if you mix the smallest amount of J&H Wilson medicated 99 in to a big pinch of Honey and Whiskey it gets a strange wintergreen checkerberry smell. With somewhat of a copeish back ground. (very strange but true I’ve tried in on several occasions.) The right amount of the 99 is what is stuck you your spoon or fingers after a pinch (a light dusting actualy.)

Toque W&H is a superb snuff, I love it in my nose. Never had it anywhere else.

Toque Whiskey and Honey is one of their best snuffs in my opinion, and certainly one of the most long lasting in the nose. Occasionally I’ll cut it with a little Natural Toast, but most of the time I want that full, heady honey fix. Like tonight, I suspect.

Toque whiskey and honey is in my humble opinion better than my we garrett, but I used to chew copenhagen years and years ago and to me snuff is sooooooo much better! Every time I open a tin I get a big old smile on my face, I think my wifes jealous! lol
