Hello everyone, I’ve been running low on my Toque supply lately and the only thing available at the local tobacconists are like four of the Toque flavors. I’ve been thinking about ordering direct from the website, but I keep hearing rumours that the packages will get intercepted at American customs and be delayed/confiscated/destroyed. Does anyone in the USA have experience ordering direct from Toque? How long does it take? Do the packages get stopped? Thanks for any contributions!!

@Jackie_Bones … WOW…that’s a blessing 4 Toque snuffs in your area…I’m sure if they can get 4 … They can get more types…and maybe SILVER DOLLAR also ( hear thats TOQUES USA BRAND… only seen pics of it on internet ) so what area you live in? In case a snuffer needs toque In a emergency and happens to be local? IN REGARDS TO YOUR? I have received 7 or 8 orders in last 4 months from TOQUE MS and SS and never had packages tampered with by Customs …average is10 days… Best was 5 days… ( AIRSURE from MRSNUFF was 5 ) Worst was 18 days … Worst that has happened was GH IRISH D opened in sack ( shoulda been boxed …was a lot of types snuffs in that sack… But that wasn’t from TOQUE… ) I have only received 2 TOQUE SHIPMENTS and he packs the best as both were boxed…GOOD LUCK

They’ve always come through for me, usually in 7-10 days. No customs problems.

My first online snuff purchase was from Toque directly. The prices were great, all the snuff was super fresh, and it all arrived somewhere in that 7 or 8 day range. I’ve never had a problem dealing with Toque directly. Roderick is king.

There is always a chance of any package getting stopped and searched by customs so that is a chance you take. I personally haven’t had any custom delays. My toque order was received just shy of 10 days. Definitely place an order. The anticipation of every order is killer but worth it once it arrives.

I never had anything but good luck with Toque. 18 days was my longest delay but there were shipping delays expected and the communication along with the product received was excellent. I can highly recommend ordering direct

I’ve never heard anything like that in the four years I have been on this forum. Toque packages arrive usually within a week or a week and a few days from ordering. Customs might inspect, but they will not destroy or confiscate.

I recently ordered direct from Toque to the US and everything arrived fresh and in a timely manner. If I remember correct, shipping was around 10.00 USD. I will certainly be ordering from them again at some point in the near future.

The only problem I had with customs was a week or so before Christmas a couple of years ago. That was because they were looking for Cuban cigars and other contrabands. Other than that, not a problem.

I got my order from toque last week. took just 6 days. think i may order more tomorrow. Hopefully another speedy delivery.

My order came in today, I placed it last monday, so that’s 8 days from the Uk to California.

Been 19 days, and counting.The longest I’ve waited. It is what it is. These things happen.

Yeah, my order from Mr. Snuff was shipped on April 18th. It is now May 1st. POOP.

@Roderick, I/we thank you for the updates. I know U.S. mail has been, well, the U.S. mail. lol. “caught wind of some deliveries taking 25 days from other suppliers”. I will email, if by chance it takes 28 days. Noworry, and thanks again, I’ll definitely keep you posted. [-O<

A recent shipment from the UK took 21 days to get to me in the USA. Im thinking its US Customs moreso than anything with Royal Mail.

I think we got a few custom agents in USA who use snuff, take the boxes into the break room at lunch …breaks out the " ole confiscated box cutter " given to him by there buddies in the TSA and discreetly is opening tins and pillaging and reseal box…Bastards! Lol

It seems the increase in shipping times started during the US Sequestration. That’s the closest thing I can think of…

@AANYCAARDS awhile back one of the foil puches of 6 photo I had in my box arrived with a discrete, clean cut taken out of one corner. The nature of the cutout made it very clear it was not due to a manufacturing error or accident. The good part is that it still arrived… So must not have been too suspicious!!!

Well chaps, I got my order. Shipped April 18th, arrived May 4th. Not too bad I suppose!

Huzzah! Toque order arrived today!, hit the 25 day mark “thx u.s.custms/mail”. Packed perfect, one of the best tins made, a couple of small dings that would have meant annihilation for most other tins and these tins are still standing the test. Fresh and wonderful, you’ve heard it many times and oh how true it is, my office is a Toque bouquet right now. @Roderick, hats off to you good Sir. Wonderful, quality snuffs and great service, I can’t thank you enough, but shall try, with future purchases. <:-P

@Roderick do you use UPS or FedEx? Or Royal Mail like MrSnuff.com? I am hesitant to order any snuff from overseas to the USA because of the PACT act in the USA. MrSnuff said that Royal Mail hands off the packages to the USPS, and I’m not so sure about that.

Our highest strength snuffs nicotine wise are Quit, SP Extra and Spanish Gem.

@Roderick, interesting that Spanish Gem is on the list. Is it basically a scented version of Quit, then? I wish you’d do a few more extra strong scented snuffs!
