Ok i know this is not a new snuff for toque but i have to say this … i have been swapping my snuffs a lot lately trying to find one that will be an all day every day kind of snuff … i ordered this spanish gem a while ago now and i had said many times i could not stand the smell and no way was it going near my nose “what a mistake that was” today i found the tin and thought i would yet again open it and wow to my suprise it did not smell as strong so i thought i would try it and i have one word for what happend one word= “WOW” its amazing snuff i could not put my finger on half of the flavors but i did not care it was amazing i think i can taste well ok i may be mad but i taste chocolate fudge lol and like a syrup its official this is now my all day everyday snuff ! im so happy its taken me months to find one … whats your everyday snuff and why ???
I have 3 Patrick Collins boxes which I visit every day: No 1 filled with Toque Original. Will be substituted by Toque SP Extra once my stock of Original is depleted No 2 filled with F&T HDT. I sometime fill the box with Whisky & Honey or Marmelade & Toast. No3 filled with Levi Garrett. I do put some Dental mild in there from time to time. In between I pinch from various other tins but I always go back to the ones named above. They are my staple snuffs.
Toque Peach and Raspberry are my 2 “OMG…must never run out ever!” snuffs. SP Extra, Original, and Toffee are also high in the rotation. I use the Toque Toasts for “wake up bumps”, and I love the 5 Photo Himalaya best of all the menthols I’ve tried. It doesn’t seem to clog me up if I binge on it like most do.
I find that Fubar Grunt is my absolute favorite, I just love the burn and taste. Then a toss up between Berwick Brown and Whiskey and Honey. F&T HDT is never far behind.
I start every morning with WOS Gold Label but Grand Cairo is a strong competitor.
I think the one I have almost every daay is Toque Lavender. Spanish Gem and SP extra come a close 2nd
I’m never without a toast (usually Wilson’s Irish High Toast No 22 but occasionally F&T High Dry Toast or Gawith’s Irish D), Wilson’s Honey Menthol (or Gawith’s Honey) and an SP (which is usually Best SP but occasionally Gawith’s SP No 1 High Mill or one of the Crests). Why ? Because Wilsons and Samuel Gawith make the best snuff on the planet :o)

At the mo’ my everyday snuff is Toque Berwick Brown. It’s a good grind and very tasty, not too overpowering in terms of ‘flavour’, and very very more-ish. Before I found this one I didn’t really have an everyday snuff, J&H Wilsons SP No 1 was in the running, but it just wasn’t quite right.
I have some Berwick Brown on order cant wait to try it everyone loves it lol might be here tomorrow or wed along with more Spanish Gem … hmmm i must learn not to take it late at night as it keeps me awake lol must have a decent hit of nicotine as im calm as calm can be which is why i love it and so does my wife and kids and cat and hampster lol chilled daddy
Just started snuff taking about three weeks ago. Out of the thirty or so cans of snuff I have collected, I keep coming back to Toque’s Spanish Gem. It really satisfies! Hedges L260 or Packard’s Club will be a close second.
