I was wondering if anyone had tried both and could tell me of they could notice a difference. I have read that the Spanish Brandy is a “slightly tweaked” Spanish Gem. The Spanish Brandy is available at my local tobacco shop and I have yet to order the Spanish Gem.
@BigJ I’ve not had the Spanish Brandy but the Spanish Gem is wonderful!
I’ve had both. They were very close to the same snuff. I actually just mixed the two together. I did that a while ago so I don’t remember exactly what the differences were. What I do remember is that the Spanish brandy seemed slightly dryer. When my mix is gone I willbe ordering Spanish gem tho instead of trying to find the Spanish brandy.
Spanish Brandy was the first snuff I ever tried. I am going on memory here, but I remember Spanish Brandy being slightly sweeter. Could be my imagination because they are virtually the same.
I’m definitely going to order the gem in my next order. I absolutely love the Spanish Brandy so I’m sure I’ll feel the same about the gem. I was thinking about being frugal and not trying the gem because they are so similar, but for me it’s hard to be frugal with such a lovely thing like snuff especially when a tin is only a few dollars.
I like the SB more than the SG actually, tho they are almost identical. Both excellent.
I am very eager and excited to try the new, yet to be released Toque USA Spanish Brandy. @Roderick, are you getting any closer to releasing the new SB and the remaining Toque USA blends?
Smoker Friendly shop has the USA Spanish Brandy…ooops. Its 2014 now, this thread is from last year.
So whatever happened to Spanish Brandy?
