Toque SP EXTRA lost flavour

Hey guys haven’t been around for a while but I did snuff  Well I have a problem with a tin of SP EXTRA, actually my only tin that lost almost all its flavour I could say 90%… I can hardly feel the flavour I used to. The tin has been well sealed and kept in a dry dark place over the past 6 months or so. Is this normal? I have over 30 tins of Toque and few bulk bags I haven’t looked over the past 3 months. Is this something that normally happens to Toque snuff? As far as I remember Toque SP EXTRA has a strong bergamont flavour that cannot be confused, as this thread here states also http://snuffhouse.org/discussion/3703/bergamot/p1 Cheers

plus not all naturals are made equaly. Bergamot is more volitile then peppermint. I mean my god man peppermint will live nearly forever bergamot not so long lived.

Might I add SP Extra is fantastic, no worries from me as there’s no way mine will last 6 months ( or 6 weeks ).

I keep all my extra SP Extra and other snuffs in airtight containers in the freezer. Snuff stay fresh in there for years.

Just checked my SP Extra - bulk stored in plastic airtight container (but not in freezer) and at least a year old - good as new - what an immense snuff experience!

Mine is fine after quite a while.

I can’t vouch for the freezer as i’ve never used it. I did make the mistake of storing about 30 tins of Toque in a container that wasn’t as airtight as i thought…long story short, except for the menthols, no flavor to be found!! This is a good thing, proving that Roderick uses natural flavorings…Gawith n Ozona still as fruity as day one! Artificial flavoring much?! I would recommend using mason jars with caps n rings…quite the airtight seal. Needless to say, i learned my lesson, and also found another reason to stick with Toque (as if I needed one!) Hope this helps!
