Hey all, I was wondering about how big a 25g can of toque is? Is it the same height as a 10g and a larger diameter? Or both? I am wondering if I can fit a 25g in my pockets.
It’s way wider. slightly taller only. It’s about 3" in diameter.
just keep your little one and transfer what you’ll need into it. That’s what I do with my Natural and Original. The bummer is that the air left in the 25g, and the 10g for that matter, will change the face of the snuff inside. I don’t mind this with these two flavors though, in fact I love it with the natural. I probably should’ve edited my last post instead of making a new one. Like I am doing with this one. Heh.
Thank you!
buy a patrick collins snuffbox and refill from the 25g tins. I tend to keep the toque 25s in my back pocket, which is why my spanish gem is completely dented in.
I would definitely agree. However, I find the toque tins do a good job at keeping the snuff fresh. Better, say than wilson’s.
so let’s say I have a bunch of 25g tins, which I likely won’t kill anytime soon. What should I store them in?
I never thought of using my humidor for it, thats a good one Roderick. Im out of cigars too, so I won’t have to worry about smell contamination. The last thing I want when I light up my Camacho Corojo is for it to taste like SP Extra lol!
i keep my snuffs in an airtight plastic box and the toques ive got are in their sealed plastic bags, that seems to keep them fresh.
For price I think you should buy 25 gm tins. eg A 10 g of wos costs $2.50, and a 25 gm tin costs $4.25. You get 2 and one half times as much for $1.75 more. Even if a little gets stale, you still come out ahead. I keep some in a humidor and what wont fit I put in double plastic bags in the fridge.
Does Toque sell anywhere in amounts more than 25 g? That may be an obvious answer but I haven’t come across a spot to buy in larger bulk quantities.Sure Roderick may know?
You can buy bulk bags on Toque’s website. Up to 400 grams.
I need a few kilos
you and me both, brother.
A humidor is essential if you live in a dry climate. Military surplus ammo boxes have served me well. An open tin of snuff will dry out virtually while you watch in Phoenix. Toque 25 gram tins stack perfectly in the box from 30 calibers like 308’s or 30.06’s. They close up tighter than…a drum.
