I’m finding that my “usuals” are not giving me the hit I would like now days. Perhaps this is due to over consumtion, or the odd dip I get into now and then. But, the Nic levels are not “doing it” for me anymore. My thought was to get some toque quit and do a blend with it to up the nic level. ie: 60/40 Sp and quit, or 50/50 chocolate and quit…etc… Anyone else try this? POV.
Yes. Works well. My favorite is Quit/W&H and Quit/dry-scotch. Usually about 70/30. For an even harder hit (the first 15 seconds) cut your mixture with D.white or similar. Start with 10-20%. Be careful using it straight… it can hurt. Good luck!
Of course, you’ll eventually get used to any mixture you can come up with. Eventually it’ll just be about maintaining, and you won’t get a buzz from anything.
I suggest going to opposite direction especialy with the dip. I noticed that as I’ve taken smaller pinchs of snus that I actualy started to find my pinchs of snuff more pleasureable.
nicotine tolerance isn’t a a smooth one way graph. You actualy create a baseline each day. The amazing thing is that if you drop your dip use down to makes me not want to kill people and pretty soon that level will start feeling pretty good. Nicotine addiction is pretty strange. Cutting back will work better then rushing forward. At least that’s what I think.
@bob +1 For me the need for nicotine is so big (like ADD big) that the morning dose always brings a buzz. And similar to what you said - if I have enough stimulant to make me calm focused and happy (in one domain) than Im also agitated and not fun to be with in other domains. Sometimes work forces me to cut back for a whole week at a time. Im a much happier and balanced camper! BUt left ot my own devices, Ill ride the biggest nic-roller coaster I can find.
I not too crazy about the Skoal anyway. I just tried it out of curiousity. I went aheaad with the Toque quit order. I’m curious to try it.
the skoal has a lot more nicotine then people often think. The thing is it enters the system slowly. So if a pinch is satisifying in the first few minutes you’re getting more nicotine then you need. It’s kind of like chain smoking cigarettes.
@Roderick do you have a chart stating the mg of nicotine for your products?
