Toque Original

Story time. I have not had TO since I first started snuffing, when all I knew was Hedges, Poschl, and American scotch snuffs. I had not had an sp before and I did not know what I was looking for. I thought it smelled like sawdust back then and was not a fan and never went back to it. I think I almost immediately mixed what I had with some Dholakia Ganga to finish it because that first try did not do it for me. It was finally Lime Toast that turned me on to citrus snuffs and SP Extra turned me on to bergamot. I tried every SP I could lay my hands on but never went back to TO. So now, almost 10 YEARS later I finally decided to try another tin. My order came today and I put a 10g tin of Original in the order since it had been forever since I tried it and I wanted to see what I thought of it. I was toying with the idea of ordering a bespoke regular grind with SP Extra flavor, but figured I would try original again to see what bergamot would be like on that grind and why I was not a fan. I tried it fresh out of the shower between shifts this afternoon and wow. Just wow. I love it. It is excellent. Great bergamot and wonderful tobacco flavor. Really good. It is true, go back to snuffs you did not get on with and they may be your new favorite. What snuff did you dislike that you went back to years later and it was perfect?
