I’ve had some Toque Cherry in the fridge for 6 months or so, I tried it the other day, it’s like sucking on a greasy coin…no cherry flavour at all…
This may indicate not to leave your snuff in the fridge for 6 months. Since every batch of toque cherry I’ve tried has a noteable cherry scent that is stronger then the average toque scent.
There is no need to fridge Toque. Air tight containers are enough .Sorry for your loss ~X(
It probably absorbed the smells from your Fridge just like a box of baking soda does.

Another thing to worry about when keeping things like snuff, coffee, or tea in the fridge; is the possibility of condensation forming when moving it from one temperature to another. I try to keep these items, especially snuff and tea, away from the kitchen in general. Sorry about the Toque shezzuk, at least snuff is relatively cheap compared to other luxury “vices.”
I quite like Toque Cherry. I thought I wouldn’t at first, but it really grew on me. i never fridged it. Any extra tins I had got zipbaged and cellared. I think I have since consumed them all. I need another Toque random sampler or 2 or 3 for my cellar.
Toque Cherry is the only cherry snuff I can use. I remember seeing someones snus collection on another site in the freezer and there was a bag of snuff in there, in that post they were moaning about how the snuff had lost its scent etc! I almost cried at the computer screen when I saw it. No need to keep snuff in the fridge, just an air tight jar, but Toque tins (especially the current ones) keep such a good seal anyway that I just keep them in the tins now until opened.
It’s strange but I I’ve tried the cherry again and it seems the cherry flavour is back, albeit a little musty which actually is quite nice. I keep all my toques at room temperature now in a sealed pot.
