This is likely old news for everyone but an absolute game changer for me.

Turns out that a lot of my recent sinus issues had been down to dehydration.
I do actually try to drink a fair amount but I hadn’t really accounted for my increase in snuff consumption, weather and routine.

I was with a friend on Friday who pinched my forearm before pointing out how long it took for the white to dissipate and that it was a sign I was fairly dehydrated.

The difference is night and day now - an extra pint of water made all the difference between easy airways and total blockage.

It does seem surprising, but I believe you. I once was told by a doctor to get hydrated constantly during a flue. That advice made it easier that time and it still helps me during colds and the like. I think I am going for another glass of water .

It’s taken me a day or so to try it out and perhaps this is purely coincidental, but I’m genuinely surprised over the difference it has made for me.

For the record, I’m a sizable guy (6’3 with a 48" chest) and the weather has been quite changeable here in the UK over the last few days. But I honestly can’t think it’d hurt anyone to grab an extra beverage here and there.
