They changed Skruf!

I’ve been partial to Skruf loose for a while now. It took me about a month to go from wanting one can of every brand, to exclusivley snusing Skruf. Funny how that works, similar to cigarettes. Yet with nasal snuff, you need to have at least 20 different kinds on hand to cover every situation. Actually, make that 80 kinds. So I’m upset that they changed the recipe on Skruf! They changed the design of the can slightly too. The new skruf is crumbly like General, and it doesn’t bake up right. The old Skruf was like clay, bake it up and it aint never coming apart. Now I’m cursed with unsightly mudslides, mid-snus. If anyone has any pull at Skruf & Co., please ask them to go back to way things were!

That’s a shame. I have two tins of skruf left, and like you it’s my favorite. I was going to order a log (10cans) soon, but now you have me worried that my favorite snus is going to suck.

I’ve been using Skruf Stark Los for the past 2 years and had no idea that they changed the recipe! Thought it was just a can change. As for the texture of the ‘new’ snus, I had just assumed that Northerner sent me dried up Skruf! I added water though and stirred it up and was good to go, but I don’t want to have to doctor up my snus everytime I get a new can! Dry, crumbly snus hurts my gums and takes way too long for the flavor & nic to hit. I’ve been wanting to quit Skruf anyway to use a more socially acceptable snus for women - minis. Thanks to the new recipe, this may be easier than I thought.
