Please don’t smile at me if you find me a bit sentimental about this topic. About 2½ years ago my son visited London and I asked him to buy me some snuff. Up till then I only knew O&G and No99. He brought along Gawith Apricot, LowenPrise, Wall Flower, Dry Orange, Ozona Raspberry, President and Packards. I fell in love with the Apricot and could not use the Wall Flower and Dry Orange as I could not keep it in my nose. It went flying down my throat every time I tried it. Eventually I mixed it with O&G and then discarded this failure. After this stock was depleted I was craving for the Gawith Apricot but did not know how to get hold of it. Then, on the 17th of June last year I stumbled over this site and discovered the World of Snuff(house). Today I have more snuff than I could use in the next 2 years. I have snuff from all over, I have 5 tins of G Apricot in the feezer, I have enough Packards to last me a year, I have Levi Garrett for a year. I can sniff Wall Flower and Dry Orange without a problem. I’ve even discovered that the SA snuffs are not so bad after all. I’ve tried my hand at mixing and making my own snuff. I have snuff boxes and other gadgets etc etc. But, most of all, I’ve got YOU, ladies and gentlemen, members of this forum!!! I’m not going to name anybody because all of you are my friends and I do not want to offend anyone by omitting his or her name. But I do want to thank Alex by name because this forum was his idea. And he is keeping all the parts together. Thank you, all my friends, for your kindness, your generosity, your eagerness to give advice and for just being you. I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Oh Pieter, that was so sweet! I too am very glad that I stumbled across this forum and all the great people who make up our little community. I don’t know any snuffers in real life - or at least I didn’t - until I met you guys, and my knowledge and collection of snuff & it’s accoutrements has grown apace over the last 8 or 9 months I’ve been lurking, reading and posting here. So I’d like to join Pieter in thanking Alex and everyone else for making this the best forum on the web!

I probably wouldn’t have stuck with snuff this time around if I hadn’t found this forum. It would have been like the 4 other times I tried using snuff to quit smoking where I gave up on it after a while. So, I too thank you all for this great place. As for you Pieter, I have very much enjoyed talking with you and of course our trades have been wonderful. Happy snuffing to everyone.

Well played my friend, I also love this place. I do not get to post as much as I used to due to a 6 1/2 month old, little snoot mcsnuff, but still check in here every day to read what is going on. Alex has a great thing here. This site has been a big part of my day for the last couple of years. We have some great people here now and in the past. My hat is off to Alex for keeping us all together and having a great website. This sniff of McC’s SP is to Pieter and Snuffhouse. Cheers!
