Watched this very interesting show about spinal cord regeneration. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04mm8zl/panorama-to-walk-again Turns out that apparently some part of the nose system is the only part of the body that constantly regenerates or renews or something (explained in the program) throughout life which led to the idea of the doctors using these cells to help regenerate the spinal chord after injury and it seems they have been successful. So it made me wonder is this a reason why our snuff tastes can change? Not important but I didn’t realise before that this happened with the nose. Kind of reasuring too I think. Maybe explains why my favourite snuff changes so often?

I can not think of any other product or substance that is capable of being revolting one day and then six months down the line be ambrosial. Never throw snuff out that you don’t immediately like - you might find yourself with a life time favourite in a few months time.

This should be printed on all snuff sold. While I had my doubts about this, I have found on several occasions that a snuff I tried and was sure would never touch my nose again- in fact did and became a regular.
