My nose is itching. I talked with David and he will be getting in the new snuff Elmo’s Reserve. This is what I know… The snuff was made up for, and suggested by a faithful client of SD’s. Apparently, Elmo was his faithfull companion dog. When the dog passed the old gentleman was heartbroken. The man was a snuff taker and somehow… I had a chance to give it a shot. I love it. It is my desert island snuff. It hints of Tonquin, A dash of vanilla, and a bit of I don’t know. It is moist and medium in mill. When I got hold of the tiny bit I did, The nose was strong. I got enough to fill my small pewter box. over night it became the snuff I love. Am I passionate about this snuff, you bet. But then again I am a snuffer, period. David, if you are reading this Hurry please.
Where did you fnd this snuff?
I’m thinking Elmo’s snuff is likely to tickle your nose.
congrates sir Elmos.
Don’t worry khalid… I got it if nobody else did! Hasn’t anybody else around here ever heard of “Tickle Me Elmo”? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tickle\\_Me\\_Elmo …nuth’n but smeggin’ Philistines around here! ©¿©¬
I just hope he didn’t cremate his dog XD
I’m quite keen on giving this one a try. Any word when it will be available from Mr snuff?
I believe it will be worth the wait. Dave I believe is the only person I know of who is getting it in. i kept some in the new Bernard’s box for about a week without it getting too dry. one thing I suggest is to box some from the tin when you get it. a little air seems to equalize it.
I’m a here only for a few days, but I’ve already learned about what seems like a rare snuff. I’m sure it isn’t the only one either. Are there many rare sought for snuffs out there? @mr.snuff How much did you order and how fast do you think it’s gonna be out of stock?
I cannot wait. My only problem is I am p[aying for two new snuff boxes and a pipe…Maybe around christmas. Oh santa!
Cool tin label. Maybe SG will return to having cool motifs on their labels. They used to do with it with Cuckoo at least.
I hope so too.
Looking forward to the good old fashioned tatse of Tonka. Now in use in gourmet cooking it appears, though not in the States where one of its active ingrediants does not meet food safety requirements. I have some Wilson’s tonkas on order. Would be nice to see them before the 4th of never.
This sounds really good. I’ve been after a decent tonquin snuff… May have to make an order soon.
I too am loving this Elmo’s reserve stuff, although it is perhaps a bit on the strong side for me to use regularly. At the end of a long day, though… man, it can’t be beaten.
