I noticed some folk air out their fresh snuff to kill the ammonia, but I love the “bite” that a fresh hit of snuff delivers.

There’s nothing like opening a J&H Wilson’s SP No. 1 tin for the first time. I dig the ammonia too, Carol. Most of the Toques I get are fresh like that too though I think they’d be freshest if I ordered them direct.

I don’t like the smell of ammonia but it denotes super fresh snuff so its a good thing when it comes out of a new can.

I like that initial Ammonia bite as well. It’s one of those pleasant in some circumstances smells (ie. Snuff) unpleasant in others.(Public toilet facilities.) Lol!, but it is true.

It’s still better than the alternative in a public crapper. Hee hee.
