Just wondered, does anyone know which member of this house has been using snuff the longest?

Probably Ermtony, Snuff Head or PhillipS.

I’m guessing it will be PhilipS. My first ever try was around 1969 with (I think) J&H Wilson’s SP No 1 from a local shop and it did not agree with me at all then. I had another go in 1976 when I was living in Regensburg (Bernard’s of course) and that time I found I enjoyed it. I’ve been indulging in snuff on and off ever since, particularly in recent years. Edit: age? I am a mere 53.

I’m sixty eight years of age, when I was a boy of nine I asked my farther for a tin from his shop. He gave me J&H Wilsons Top Mill saying you wont like it. I used up the tin, but I seem it took me ages. Nether bothered with snuff again until I was in my late twenties. Snuffed on and off since, mainly on for the last thirty years.

So Tony was roughly 13, Snuff Head was 9. I think that PhillipS mentioned he started at a rather young age as well. 12 or so if I recall correctly.
