I tend to inhale lightily not quickily or sharpily though I do that sometimes. For me I find if I inhale as gently as possible before holding the pinch to my nose, then bring the pinch up while still inhaling it works wonderfully. Oddly the scent doesn’t usualy hit right away but after a second or two. Worth a try.
The “Hoover Method”…^5 I like your style, Bob!
The insufflation Police will be by shortly but don’t worry, I am sure they will understand the concept of “Sucking Up” before “Sucking it Up” Just kidding with you @bob I like the idea and it is what most do when doing a boxcar
it’s an under represented way to snuff. And for me it’s the best. The inhaling before putting snuff to nose is important because it is the only way to make sure you’re only inhaling so much at a time.
I find this method good for me as I’m rubbish with controlling my inhale and distance, which isn’t always a problem apart from social situation’s, It’s rather like an exorcist style sneezing fit with brown all over my face 8-X
I like that method for toasts. I’ve tried plugging toast in my nostrils, drop the throat to get a very light suction, etc…other than blowing toast in with a bent straw or using an automatikbox, I find the inhale-as-you-get-near-nose method to work best and for best scent.
If it’s dust, I take a heavy spoonful, give it a warm breath and flick it up my nose, plug, pause and gently exhale, eye watering awesome.
My favorite for the light inhale is McCrystal’s Stammheimer Hopfen Schnupf This snuff is Sublime! I can’t figure out if I like the effect or the scent the best. There is something extraordinary about it.Even saying it name makes me smile
