The "Best Of..." section

I think that you should screen the “What’s In Your Nose?” thread out of the Best Of selection process. Due to the power of numbers , the Best Of is overrun by mindless posts from What’s In Your Nose thread that do nothing but just name a snuff. That’s hardly “best” material!

There isn’t a way to exclude threads from reactions, the only thing we can do is track the points differently for each category which would mean that all of the threads in the General category would be tracked different from the rest of the forum. You can filter out the majority of the “likes” by just choosing the “Insightful” and “Agree” functions on the “Best of” page.

I suppose the way to consolidate those two would be to have all the watchas (drinking/snuffing/opening/finishing/dipping/smoking/eating) in one untracked “what are you doing right now” section, maybe

I have never noticed “Best of” section before. I’ve been using Recent Discussion button to find out what is going on.

@viertel how long have you been here? ;))

Best of regardless is what is; so it’s what is in your nose, just goes to show what members think the best of snuff is currently. If you post something worthy of best of, it will show up and then get buried under all the “whats in your nose threads Best of”. The great thing is fresh members posting questions even though they been answered before. To sift though all the archived info could take a life time.And I don’t mine putting in my two cents. It’s a little late but I should had made a copy of the posts I had made in the past and compile a book. Good? thing I have a short memory; I can read old posts and come across my comments and think; sometimes I amaze myself. It is a full time career practicing humility. And not so easy to post new content to contribute. It could be used to compile a shopping list for what most members like to a lurker or new snuff taker

@Artman: Longer than you have I believe. Many members don’t use certain things on the board. I have truly only clicked on the “Best of” feature, one of those times being today. I don’t use the Recent Discussions feature, everyone has their like or dislike.

Didn’t mean to offend anyone. I just had a good look round when I was a guest. Must admit I only ever use the recent discussion feature.

@Artman, half a year, since 11 May.
