What do you do when you find 5 year-old snuff, want to return to snuffing after that 5 year hiatus and your order from the snuff vendor is still a week away? Of course you improvise. Thus begins the tale of the Accidental Alchemist, a blind snuff newbie without a clue. Into the bowl went the following. Don’t ask me about exact measures; my talking scale decided to keep mum for the duration of this first experiment. * About 4 grams of MC Mild Lemon * 1 sachet of Dholakia Sparrow Cool * About 4 grams of Poschl Red Bull * About a gram of Poschl Silverstone Orange I slopped the bowl around to mix the dried-out and less-than-fresh snuffs. I then placed the bowl into a sealed plastic container with a damp paper towel and two wedges of fresh lemon. The result? After 72 hours in the sealed container, I ended up with a moist, finely-cut snuff with a decidedly lemon-mint flavor. It’s actually fairly nice. So nice in fact, that I loaded both a bullet and a 10 gram snuff box with the result. While I await my snuff orders from England (I’m in the Central U.S.), this accidental mixture will do in a pinch.

@Uncle_Squinty I had just resurrected some McChrystals Super mint with three small fresh mint leaves. It is a good as I remember. It was only overnight but the leaves I pull out were bone dry. There is a on going thread called = what are you mixing? Some good recipes are being generated there.
