Tis the season for Toque X-mas Pudding for me. I love it anytime but it is especially appreciated this time of the year.

My Kendal Apple went very well after dinner, with sitting and barely being able to stay conscious. It’s not tha thanksgiving without the post-meal nap.

ah ha! After a bit of searching I’ve found some old Bespoke snuffs I had stashed away. Christmas Joy! Anyone remember Martian Rose, Gin & Tonic, Stephens Tipple or Christmas Joy!?

M

I’ve had all 4 except the Christmas Joy, good stuff. There’s some Stephan’s Tipple around here somewhere…

My snuff of choice was Celtic Talisman… Not only does the flavor invoke the spirit of a sweet dessert mixed with memories of old men smoking pipes, but I respond well to this snuff, making it completely enjoyable when among family (i.e. no sneezing, runny nose, cough, etc.)

I ummm…I had De Kralingse Choco…such a good chocolate…I wish I had got the Latakia based Choco but I got the Virginia…it’s nice and easy but a big something of sorts. I wanted a snuff to sit down to after dinner and having had pumpkin pie already I wanted Chocolate. My buddy liked it so much he tried to buy it from me. I ended up dumping half the tin in an empty SG Vanilla tap box. It wasn’t empty to begin with…it went into the trash. So I gave half of it away and snuffed to my hearts content. My wife likes it. She doesn’t use tobacco of any sort but once she smelled the Choco she took a big snuff. It’s rare that she does this.

Since I was up before the sun, to start cooking our Thanksgiving dinner, I switched around on the snuffs. I started with McChrystal’s Original for a menthol blast to wake me up. Then switched to my Poschls (Alpina, Radford Premium and Lowenprise). I went to De Kralingse’s AO 1860 even now and then, for a non-menthol break. Finally, I think I remember passing out with the scent of De Kralingse’s A/P in my nose. I was dead tired by that time, so I’m not 100% certain about it. I guess this was my way of giving thanks for so many great snuffs.
