would it be possible to use an empty ozona raspberry snuff tin again or would it bend out of shape from prising it open to refill it?
Yes, you can. I have done it just to pinch instead of using the little opening. Just pull it apart with your hands little by little.
i will try that when ive finished the tin. it would be nice to actually be able to use the slider hole again too. ive seen a nice snuff box that is used in the same way but is too expensive, i wonder if there are cheaper ones available that have got the slider hole.

Coincidentally, I am using my empty tin of Ozona right now to hold a sample bag of Jaxon English Toffee I got from the Snuff Shop. I just used my fingernail to gently pry off the top, then I rinsed it and let it dry for a day. When you put the thing back together, just make sure you don’t have the opening lined up or you might shoot some snuff out the side. Thus far it’s working like a champ, just as tight and spillproof as the day it came filled with Ozona. Also, if you go to any kitchen store you can find these really little micro funnels. They are a little too narrow at the end as is, but if you cut the stem a little further up with scissors, it works great for refilling flip top boxes.
Patrick Collins boxes are pretty cheap - extremely cheap if you buy direct from him and have slide lids. Most people probably pinch from them but you can tap snuff out with that kind.

I use little metal screw top tins for mine.
If you go to Wal-Mart you can get little tins like the one’s above. They are empty and cost $0.97 for 2. They are sold in the section that has all of the travel toothpaste and shampoos. They are made to be flight-friendly (see through). They come in about 4 colors.
