Tea Earl Grey hot.

I wonder how many get that reference. Still after moving away from my usual Lap Sung to Earl Grey it made me wonder if there are any snuffs scented exclusively with Bergamot or better yet a tea scented snuff. Lap Sung, Earl Grey and Darjeeling I’d love to see Toque add them so I could have breakfast, a little bacon, some toast and a nice cuppa.

Lapsang Souchong = Viking Dark or Latakia AO 1860 Earl Grey - Any SP is generally scented with bergamot. Try Toque SP Extra.

I have to disagree with the Viking dark being like Lapsang, it’s far too chocolaty IMO and not smokey enough though I haven’t tried 1860 yet. I will give SPs a go though.

I really love Earl Grey tea so when I had Toques SP Extra that was the first thing that came to mind.

Captain Picard’s order of choice to the replicator, isn’t it? I like Earl Grey but prefer Darjeeling. But then, I sometimes like English Breakfast, despite it tasting like soap. As said above, the SPs remind me of Earl Grey. I like them! I haven’t come across a snuff that smells like tea, though. In Uni, I recall an organic chem lab where someone had screwed up and made the most vile, lingering odour imaginable. I tried shoving loose leaf jasmine tea up my nose to cover the stench. Didn’t work. Vicks vapor rub on my upper lip helped. Without that, people were retching and worse… The jasmine tea did smell good though. Funny, but once I stuck it in my nose, I lost most of the “tea” fragrance.

Nothing better from the smell and taste of a fresh original Japan Bancha green tea or Matcha tea, i can imagine a green toasted Matcha snuff or even a roasted green Bancha Hojicha tea smell snuff. Im 99% sure that a Bancha Hojicha toasted snuff will have a huge success… P.S. If you have the opportunity give a try to Japan Bancha or Bancha Hojicha. 2-3min/80°C (176°F)

Wilsons of Sharrow Best SP for Earl Grey. And it’s a gorgeous snuff anyway.

I think tea itself, tea scentings notwithstanding, is a far too delicate a scent to be captured by snuff. Tobacco alone would overpower the scent of tea.
