It all started the other day, it was a muggy outside. The sun was hiding and I was indoors with the expectation of trying a new snuff! But little did I know it would go terribly wrong and change my life forever! Please read on: I have wanted to try out Taxi Red Extra Strong for a long time now. I have always hunted down snuffs that have been ‘Strong’ because I have a high tolerance to nicotine. I’ve bought Rooster, Spanish Jewel, Magnet Menthol and now Taxi Red for the kick. Like usual before doing any new snuff, I read a bunch of reviews about it on this site to prepare myself. One review I read was spot on in saying that this snuff was so course that it looked like dip! When I opened the tin, it did indeed remind me of dip due to the fact that it was course and also very wet! There were a lot of good reviews about this so I figured I would give it a try. I took a pinch of this dip like snuff and tried to get it into my nose. After the first pinch went in, the first exhale I made shot little black beads all over the place! I figured I would take a deep inhale to lodge some of this snuff inside my nostril. I did, and now these beads were in my nasal passage and throat causing me to choke on them. So now black beads are shooting from my nose, I am coughing them out of my mouth, and I believe I even swallowed some of them. I spent the next ten minutes just trying to get all these little BBs out from several different orifices. I am now completely turned off from this Snuff which is to bad because I really wanted to give it a try. A little while after this now traumatic event I remembered I had an old can of Grizzly Dip that I never finished so I opened that up for comparison. These two products honestly look almost the same! Now I will probably give this Snuff another go later on because I really want to try it but I must admit it was an experience to say the least due to its size. It just doesn’t feel right with this stuff up your nose! Has anyone tried to use a Mortar and Pestle and grind this stuff down a bit more to make it more accessible? Any other horror stories involving this or any snuff that you would like to share?
LOL!! Why don’t you leave the lid off for a while and let it dry a bit. It will then become lighter and easier to snuff. Or you could try to dip it. This is my only real horror story that I posted before. A New Way To Snuff!!!
LOL! Funny! Try it wih a larger snuff spoon, like pipe nail or popsicle stick. Pinching, I believe balls it up too much. When I take this snuff, I feel like I’m shoveling, but it is very pleasant once it’s in, and it seems to dissolve nicely. In fact I’m surprised how light the effluent seems to be, compared to the coarse snuff that goes in. 
I will try experimenting with this snuff, maybe dry some and grind it finer, see what happens.
i never had taxi red, so i do not know how wet it is. but what i do with wet snuffs is to try not to press them, as this would form solid balls going up my nose. you could try to sniff it as a line, maybe that helps.
For snuff that balls up I usually just rub my pinched fingers back & forth slightly as I’m snuffing to crush up the snuff before it leaves the fingers.
I tried Taxi for the first time today; the blue can variety. I used to fish on a farmers land that had river on the bottom meadow, to get to it you went past his cattle shed. I was back there -this stuff smells like cow shit Thye most bizarre snuff I have ever tried
