Should one take snuffs with nasal medicines like Anafrin. Sadly the first day I use snuffs and I have had a cold for a week. I used some Anafrin to clear my passages, and that stuff taste horrible. Will this effect my intake of nicotine or anything? Anyone here study up on that stuff? I’m using schmazlers so its kind of cloggy even when my nose is clear.

Since snuff should rest at the front of the nose- sinus congestion shouldn’t be a major issue in getting nicotine, but using sprays could pose a problem with pushing snuff into your sinuses and maybe even down your throat- which could cause an upset stomach. You may also have a time clearing your nose when its time if you are overly congested. Of note- some folks use medicated snuffs to clear their sinuses out- there are several threads about this very subject that I just saw, though I don’t quite know how to link to them.
