The only problem I’ve got is turning down too many other people offering me a pinch from their tins. Life is good!
Must say that I’ve never had that problem, Snuffbox. I’m usually pretty discreet about my pinches, but not so discreet that I look like I am hiding something. I love it when I take a pinch in traffic and someone next to me gives me a stink eye.
Hey, I’m in the library at the moment; have several snuffs in my bag, do you think its appropriate behaviour to snuff in the library?? You don’t get much more public than a library lol and I’m worried a security guard might see me and cause a commotion

Haha yeah I wish some of my friends were experienced snuffers with massive snuff collections! (and were generous with it!)

I snuff, roll, use snus and puff on the pipe where ever and whenever I want. People will give me the occasional stare, but as long as they don’t come forward and ask questions, I won’t go out of my way explaining it to them. I guess I just don’t care what people think - heck, people might even call me a prick 
Should I eventually get confronted with the law, they’ll soon enough learn that it’s all perfectly legal, followed by me offering them a pinch of whatever I happen to be snuffing at the time.

Yes, bemusement and interest do seem to be the most common reactions and I often seem to end up giving quite a lot of pinches away when I’m in the pub.
The peace of mind I have in my pocket right now says “don’t smoke snuff toque.” Without having any real confrontations, if it happens I just picture myself saying Bam! it’s legit sir. Although the Peanut Butter part might be qustionable.
I haven’t had any problems taking snuff in public. Everyone at work thinks I’m a bit strange anyways, so they got used to it pretty quickly. I usually have a few pinches when the wife and I go out to eat, but I haven’t gotten any comments yet. The only time anyone has said anything about the snuff, is when we go to the bar. Most people just ask what it is, but as their drink tally goes up so does their curiosity. I try to take a coarse, moist, lightly mentholated snuff to the bar in case someone wants to try. I’ve found these snuffs are best for a first time drunk pinch.
We went mtbing this morning and afterwards we had some coffee at the clubhouse. I don’t take snuff while I’m riding so I’m normally “starved” when we get back. I always go to the toilets to take a couple of sniffs. Today I just casually took out my tin of Toque Original and helped myself to a healthy pinch while we were having the coffee. Guess what? Nobody even raised an eyebrow!! Maybe the guys and girls thought it was some Performance Enhancing Drugs and did not want to show their ignorance by asking me what it was!!!
I have not had any real problems snuffing in public. Most people don’t even seem to notice. I do admit to snuffing in my collage in violation for the NO TOBACCO policy. I usually don’t do it in class but the library and hall are pretty safe. I have not converted any fellow students yet, they like the cigs too much.
When I was in the hospital last week for my hip surgery, I had my wife bring in some snuff for me. A couple of the nurses looked at it kinda funny, but nobody said anything. I brought along some Ozona Snuffyweis just in case they said no tobacco, but didn’t have to use it.

I have no compunction using snuff anywhere at any time. People look at me oddly sometimes, but I quite like that. I will ask people if they mind if I’m in a restaurant or somewhere like that as it’s only polite. When I’m in a pub or club I end up passing the tin/box/bullet around and usuallyget quite a few takers - in fact I’ve filled a bullet with HDT/W&H mix for a friend of mine who used to take snuff and fell in love with it again through me. Never had a negative reaction to it yet.
