Was mentally reviewing my purchasing habits and I Just had a revelation. some might say a moment of clarity, about how one might acquire this mysterious TAD disorder(for me anyway). Placed order with Mr. Snuff. Had a nice $50-$100 order, a nice variety of selections. The order comes in sample them all find some that you fall in love with and immediately boot up the computer and order 200+ grams. Throw in a few more 25g tins of something that looked good or was the "talk of the town"so to speak, on snuffhouse. Waiting for what seems like forever, for the new order to arrive. All the while using up the snuff you ordered sweating whether or not the 25g tins are going to last until the bulk order comes… Then one day it finally arrives in the mail! Yay! So happy! oh my god it’s so good uhhhhorgasmuhhhh… carrying on now… after bingeing out on the new bulk for a while I think “hmmm new snuff to try” crack openthe new tins and discover several new favorites (sensing the pattern yet). At the computer ordering bulk of the new “favorites.” Throw in a few more new things that had good reviews or etc… Now it’s time to wait(and snuff, obviously)…waiting…waiting…waiting some more (oh damn, it just shipped yesterday doh’). Moving on now, its been 2 weeks and all that’s in my head is customs officers laughing it up doing bumps of my snuff on some other carelessly thrown about packages. …eek I’m freaking out. … okay time to go look at mr snuff and drool… this looks good, in the cart it goes. I dont have to order it right now… throw a few more things in there… ok I wonder how much this is gonna be with shipping? Click checkout… hmm that’s not as bad as I was expecting. Then the internal debate begins. “Ive spent quite a lot on snuff lately” It’s not that much. … “I’ll have to buy more storage jars” That bed bath whatever place the wife likes to shop has them for cheap… “I have that other order out there” But it’s still not here yet… “Still… its another $75 on snuff” How much have you saved on cigarettes since you started snuffing… “Time to do math!” Through some awesome numerical precision it is decided that it’s about break even at the moment. … back to the internal debate. “I havent really saved any money” No, but what about your lungs? “Well yeah…” You’ve been awesome at cutting back, you deserve a special treat “Yeah I do dont I…” Order placed! The next day the first order Arrives. Oh it’s great to have you guys back! New snuff…damn… figure what the hell, I’ve been putting in alot of extra overtime at work. Bulk order and a few more tins of stuff thats back in stock or looked good…four days later the other order makes it in record time… Lather, Rinse, Repeat In the mean time a pipe also came into my possession(uh-oh). Help Me Please! My last order isnt here yet and I’m thinking about placing another order. I’m In need of some group support! (So says my wife…well, she says therapy lol) Anyone have similar experiences? I just cant be the only one. Thanks guys/gals for reading my long tangent.

You can do without ,you won’t die. Just live within your financial needs, I find tobacco is the best investment you can make, Unlike the stock market or precious metals .Tobacco only goes up in price so you should get a second mortgage and buy more tobacco products then you can consume in three life times and all the proper storage jars and shelving to protect your investment. Money may disappear and tobacco is a solid commodity that will always be in demand. And the best part is it gets better with age.
It’s a slippery slope but enjoy yourself, you only live once.

I just like new things. and new things i can use like tobacco are even better. (seriously, im one of the few guys i know with an online shopping addiction, airsoft, nerf[student wars], rc car[this is still running], random useless crap such as putty, newtons cradle, magic box etc. now its all been replaced with tobacco for pipe and snuff. i find it far more affordable and enjoyable, and i can enjoy any time of day/anywhere. i think ill only stop with the tobacco once i have tried every flavour multiple times, so i think i will be at this for the next few hundred years. As for controlling it, only order again once you have tried all the snuffs from the previous order. make it a rule. and only spend a certain amount in a certain time frame.
VS smoking cigarettes, I have cut my spending marginally in comparison. 60.00$ on cigarettes would last me 2 weeks @ 30.00 a carton, I put roughly 20.00 a month in my snuff pocket and jar the rest. I have a wonderful variety to nest on as well as finding those few I know I can bulk up on and plenty more still to try. So I spend less every month and end up with more in terms of usage and plenty for storage. This is tobacco at its finest! a true art form! My TAD makes me a FTC; Fine Tobacco Connoisseur. The week before last, I ordered a bunch of cigars. Last week, I ordered Dokha. Add that to the snuff and pipe collection. I started just wanting variety in snuff, then variety in pipe tobacco, then a variety of tobacco products.
Snuff alone isn’t too bad. Think about those who accumulate pipes, pipe tobacco, cigars & accessories, along with snuff.

Thanks to this forum I have started a chew addiction not to mention snus; that I like. but have not invested hundreds in yet, but the year is still young.who knows this time next year I may have a chest freezer full. I spent thousands on pipes and the same on tobacco.Been slowing down on snuff only spent 500 this year.
this might help, order up your favorite pipe tobacco (or discover your fave pipe tobacco)…1 lb. get a good burr coffee grinder. You will always be able to grind yer own snuff to tide you over waiting for yer order. Just dry out the pipe baccy before grinding it to snuff. I dare say my homeground rivals any commercial grade. You might love yer home grown and cut down on waiting and expense. Lets say you get a lb. of pipe baccy for $30. That makes a bunch of snuff. happy snuffin.
Have had to take the last month off from buying snuff and snus/chew to upgrade phone and buy two new pets and the stress has really got to me. Love my two new baby ratties (ace pets, been keeping rats for years) and the new phone (S4) is awesome, but by golly, not buying more bulk has been tough. Looking forward to the 21st when I next get paid. Think 4 more 500g SGs and 3 rolls of snus are on the cards. Sometime soon I’m going to buy like 10 rolls of snus/chew and no snuff that month because I already have a lifetime’s worth of snuff but my snus collection needs bolstering. Thank goodness they are the only two tobacco products I use (I’m including chew w/ snus). Only chew I use is Thunder Frosted anyway.
